Words of Encouragement
Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.

For Heaven’s Sake…
Matthew 12:30-32 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Jesus had cast out a devil, which had possession over a man, who was also blind and dumb. Immediately he was healed. He could both see and speak. Onlookers were amazed and claimed Him to be the son of David. But the Pharisees heard about it and immediately spoke to dispel the thought that he was the son of David. “This fellow,” they said, “doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.”
Of course, Jesus cast out the devil by the Spirit of God. He could have done it with His own divine power. However, it is very important to understand that Jesus only used the power that is also available to each one of us as believers. Every thing that He did, He did as an example of what is possible for each one of us.
The onlookers immediately took a stand one way: that Jesus must be the son of David, the Messiah. The Pharisees, however, immediately took a stand the other way. The Pharisees had engaged in the process of grieving the Holy Spirit.
They had firmly decided that they would deny the evidences of godliness in Jesus. Instead, they perpetuated a lie about Him. Like Lucifer, who is Satan, they set themselves on a one-way course with no possibility of return.
“When we, step-by-step, deny the evidences that God is working,” says Pastor Flemons, “eventually, we will say that the work of God is actually the work of the devil. That process coming to full maturity and fruition is the unpardonable sin. It can’t be pardoned. Why? Because you’ve grieved the One permanently who was sent to bring repentance and conviction to you. …
“When you go through the process of grieving the Holy Spirit, you can’t be saved. … When you see something that is of God, or you are not sure, don’t be so quick to say, ‘It’s not of God.’ Let it come to fruition. Because the Bible says, ‘By their fruits ye shall know them.’…”
Be careful. Be certain. He says, “We have to be decidedly on the side of Christ. We cannot be neutral. … We must be decidedly on the side of Christ, … Because if we don’t, eventually the things of God we will attribute to the devil. And we can’t do that and be saved.”
For Health’s Sake…
Matthew 12:29 is clear. A strong man must first be bound upon entering his house in order to spoil his goods and house. For the purposes of our health segment, the immune system is the strong man. The immune system must be bound or compromised before the body can become diseased. Colds, flus, cancers, and other diseases can’t take hold of the body, unless the immune system is first bound. Otherwise, it harnesses powerful energy.
What then binds the immune system? Going through the REFRESHING way, we can learn what binds the immune system.
R – Rely on God. Not relying on God causes stress, which puts the immune system in a holding pattern. The body reacts to stress as though it is running all day long. This binds the immune system from the ability to fight off disease.
E – Eat healthy. Eating refined foods, chemical-laden foods, animal products, lots of sugar, and white flour products provides the body with no nutrition or alkalinity. This weakens the immune system.
F – Fresh air. Negative ions are positive for you. They are needed by the body to build up the immune system. They are elements in fresh air that create vigor for your day. This is why it is healthy to sleep with the window cracked. Without fresh air, the immune system is weakened.
R – Rest. We need plenty of rest. It is during rest that the immune system is in repair from the day’s work. Even one night of missed rest, burning the midnight oil, takes a long recovery period. A lack of rest, over time, can destroy the immune system.
E – Exercise. The immune system is strengthened by exercise. Toxins are released, and endorphins are increased; so is immune power. The lack of exercise decreases the power of the immune system to react to an attack on the body.
S – Self-control. The lack of self-control leads to ingesting bad substances. Drinking the wrong thing, smoking, overeating, and overworking are all a result of a lack of self-control. They compromise the immune system. It is best to completely abstain from the bad and include only in moderation the good.
H – H2O. Drink water. Without water, the body cannot properly eliminate toxins through the kidneys (urination), lungs (respiration), skin (perspiration), liver (detoxification), and colon (defecation). The cells need water. Lack of water causes the cells and the immune system to suffer. Everything will work poorly.
I – In the sun. The body needs sunlight to manufacture vitamin D. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and other alkaline minerals and keeps the immune system strong. The lack of sunlight weakens the immune system.
N – Never give up. Giving up to quickly allows disease to further bind and eventually overtake the immune system.
G – Give to others. Being selfish and self-centered binds the immune system. There are health benefits to ministering to others. The Bible says it best.
Isaiah 58:7-(first part of ) 8 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily…”
