Worship: For Heaven’s Sake There is no greater honor for God than to die for Him–to be a martyr. But all are not called to die for Christ. Rather, He wants us to live for Him. He wants us to be witnesses of His power to save to the uttermost. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says anemia is usually due to blood loss, poor absorption of nutrients, and poor nutrition. Fresh air and adequate rest can help you avoid anemia and help you heal if you already have it. He explained. (Read more below.)

Special Prayer was offered for 7605. Pray for her daughter as she is faced with the hepatitis vaccine as a dental hygienist in training. Remember 5613, who requested that God will allow him to recognize his influence and that he will allow himself to be used of God to be a good witness for Jesus Christ. Please continue praying for the young boy with special needs and young adults, especially those with unique challenges like SDA Christians. Also continue to pray for God’s guidance and protection at Bermuda Institute for the academic year. Pray for Paula and Pastor’s mom’s move to Springfield and for the new juice feast group in Indianapolis. Please keep them and previous requests in your prayers. Thank you.

Words of Encouragement
Isaiah 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
For Heaven’s Sake…
“After the death of Stephen there arose against the believers in Jerusalem a persecution so relentless that ‘they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria.’ Saul ‘made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.’ Of his zeal in this cruel work he said at a later date: ‘I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison. . . . And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.’ That Stephen was not the only one who suffered death may be seen from Saul’s own words, ‘And when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.’ Acts 26:9-11. AA 103.1
“The persecution that came upon the church in Jerusalem resulted in giving a great impetus to the work of the gospel. Success had attended the ministry of the word in that place, and there was danger that the disciples would linger there too long, unmindful of the Saviour’s commission to go to all the world. Forgetting that strength to resist evil is best gained by aggressive service, they began to think that they had no work so important as that of shielding the church in Jerusalem from the attacks of the enemy. Instead of educating the new converts to carry the gospel to those who had not heard it, they were in danger of taking a course that would lead all to be satisfied with what had been accomplished. To scatter His representatives abroad, where they could work for others, God permitted persecution to come upon them. Driven from Jerusalem, the believers ‘went everywhere preaching the word.’ AA 105.2
“Among those to whom the Saviour had given the commission, ‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations’ (Matthew 28:19), were many from the humbler walks of life–men and women who had learned to love their Lord and who had determined to follow His example of unselfish service. To these lowly ones, as well as to the disciples who had been with the Saviour during His earthly ministry, had been given a precious trust. They were to carry to the world the glad tidings of salvation through Christ. AA 105.3
“When they were scattered by persecution they went forth filled with missionary zeal. They realized the responsibility of their mission. They knew that they held in their hands the bread of life for a famishing world; and they were constrained by the love of Christ to break this bread to all who were in need. The Lord wrought through them. Wherever they went, the sick were healed and the poor had the gospel preached unto them. AA 106.1
“Long has God waited for the spirit of service to take possession of the whole church so that everyone shall be working for Him according to his ability. When the members of the church of God do their appointed work in the needy fields at home and abroad, in fulfillment of the gospel commission, the whole world will soon be warned and the Lord Jesus will return to this earth with power and great glory. ‘This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.’ Matthew 24:14.” AA 111.1

For Health’s Sake…
Fresh air is vital for healthy blood. Fresh air is electrically charged with negative ions, which is a positive or good thing for maintaining or regaining health in general. It is the lack of fresh air that is a key factor in epidemics. History has shown that many people when packed together in ships or in other close quarters like dormitories, where fresh air is lacking, diseases spread quite rapidly. The negative ions in fresh air are needed by the body’s electrical system. Negative ions divinely or naturally enhance the flow of electricity in the body. Pastor Flemons warns against human manipulation of the electricity in the body. It negatively affects the vital force given to individuals by God.
Rest helps digestion. Rest helps the body to properly absorb nutrients. Lack of rest causes stress, which causes the body to produce extra hydrochloric acid, which inhibits absorption. It is essential to be routinely in bed by 9:30 p.m. Just prior to bedtime, it is highly recommended that you meditate on positive things. Viewing negative things, often reported in the news, can disrupt proper rest.
