Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The “entire plan of redemption” was symbolized in one year’s round of services in the earthly sanctuary. On the day of atonement, in which the sanctuary was cleansed, the high priest dressed in plain white linen garments and first made a sin offering to atone for himself and his house. “This atonement for his own sins and for his house, qualified him to act as a mediator for the people.” As in every service and its parts, directions must be followed in every particular.
After the high priest was qualified to mediate for Israel’s sins, a goat was chosen through casting lots on two goats: one lot for the Lord, the other for the scapegoat. The high priest then killed the Lord’s goat, “the sin offering for the people. . . .and brought the blood into the sanctuary. By this act, as Christ’s representative, he in type took upon himself the sins of repentant Israel.” The blood of the Lord’s goat was taken into the most holy place, where the high priest sprinkled the blood upon the mercy seat seven times to indicate complete reconciliation. The mercy seat was the only covering between the blood and the Law of God that had been transgressed. This same sprinkling was done in the holy place “and ‘on the altar that is before the Lord’ in the court, thus making atonement for ‘all the congregation.’ This was ‘an end of reconciling.’. . . [A]nyone who still had unconfessed sin was cut off from Israel. The destiny of every Israelite had been decided.” PTG
The high priest then transferred the sins of repentant Israel to the scapegoat, by “laying both his hands on the head of the goat,” and confessing “over him all the sins of repentant Israel, thus in figure transferring the sins from himself to the goat. The goat was then sent away ‘into the wilderness;. . .unto a land not inhabited,’ . . .where he finally perished, never to return to the camp of Israel. Thus in type every true Israelite had been cleansed from all sin, and the sanctuary where his sins had been recorded in blood was cleansed. Because the events of this day determined the future of every Israelite, the day of atonement was the most seriously solemn day of their lives. (See GC 420).” PTG
As we are now in the actual day of atonement, God is reviewing the records of repentant believers. He is blotting out sins and forever separating sin from repentant believers. We are living in the most solemn days of Earth’s history.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, continued the discussion about the most common disease of the blood: anemia. In the previous segment, he had mentioned that anemia essentially occurs because of a deficiency in red blood cells or hemoglobin. Anemia, we also learned is identified in three types: iron deficiency anemia, pernicious anemia, and sickle cell anemia.
Major causes of anemia include blood loss, a diet deficient in good alkaline foods, including leafy green vegetables, and conditions of the bone marrow, kidneys and liver that negatively affect red blood cell production. Major symptoms include very easily being fatigued, loss of energy, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, dizziness, or pale skin. In all types of anemia, the cells are not receiving enough oxygen.
In all cases, what needs to happen says Pastor Flemons is a juice fast, where the person feasts on green vegetable drinks: 3 pints or 3 quarts daily. Because diet is so important, animal products must be eliminated from the diet and superfoods must be included. Eating animal products is hard on the liver and kidneys, which have major roles in red blood cell production. Because stress is a factor that hinders red blood cell production, relying on God is essential. It reduces stress.
In all cases, the blood needs to be strengthened. Pastor Flemons provided the recipe for a blood-builder. But he adds caution for those who have sugar restrictions. The recipe includes grape juice, black mission figs, raisins, and apricots. Directions and daily dosage are below.

Matthew 13:34, 35 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; … that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
