Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “We are to worship God in spirit, but we are also to worship Him in truth,” says Pastor Flemons. He referred to John 4:32, where Jesus described the nature of the true worshipper of God. He also discussed obedience to the Word of God, even in the order of speaking in a foreign language during worship services, which has been misunderstood relative to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Flemons also discussed the influence of Vatican II on worship in Christian churches across denominational lines. From that time on, he says, more and more churches included drums in their praise to God. There’s nothing wrong with happiness and joy, says Pastor Flemons. But the music and dancing and trancelike movements are not evidence of having the Holy Spirit.
Walking in the Spirit means not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh or having confidence in the flesh. It is not about a happy feeling, says Pastor Flemons. Just having a happy feeling suppresses the Word of God. God gives us a clear word in and through Jesus, who lived by every word that proceeded from the mouth of His Father God. God has the best way for our happiness, but it is not based on emotion. Happiness is based on obedience. Psalm 144:15 says, “Happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.”
The Laodicean message of Revelation 3:17 describes a people with a happy, good-feeling experience, without realizing their true miserably wretched state of being. That is opposite to walking in the Spirit. It is opposite to victory over sin.

Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, dispelled the protein myth that promotes flesh-eating as the way to get protein in the diet and maintain a healthy balance in the body system. The truth is, he says, is that diabetes, hypertension, and such conditions like the autoimmune diseases do not develop because of a lack of protein, but because of too much protein and fat in the diet. The myth further promotes the idea that unless you eat flesh you don’t eat a complete protein.
The truth is that the body stores the building blocks that comprise a complete protein. A combination of beans and rice or a variety of nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains will be paired into a complete protein. The body does the pairing. We only need to eat a variety of whole foods, nuts and grains.
