Worship: For Heaven’s Sake
It’s time to break the lease.
Today’s Worship broadcast featured Pastor Flemons with a presentation of Breaking the Lease: Understanding the Old and New Covenants, Part 1.
Like the familiar real estate contract, God’s covenant with Noah had seven features:
1. An agreement
2. A promise
3. Conditions of obedience
4. A sign, token or symbol
5. A method of execution
6. A ratification or confirmation
7. A ratification or confirmation date
The difference, however, between the typical lease and a contract is access versus ownership. A lease simply grants access to use a property. A sales contract transfers ownership of the property. God’s covenant with Noah granted heirship, or ownership, to him and to future generations.
“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” (Hebrews 11:7)
Genesis 6:8 says Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And Ephesians tells us it is by grace through faith that we are saved. Grace and salvation, we find, however, are not what a lot of people think. Grace teaches us how to live: to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and live soberly, righteously, and godly in this world of sin (Titus 2:11-14). Salvation, therefore, is deliverance from sin. Of course we already know that sin, according to Romans 6:23, is the transgression of the law.
Jesus warned that as in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days just prior to His second coming (Matthew 24:37).
It’s time to take ownership of the gifts God has granted to us.
Wellness For Health’s Sake…
Norma Zayas sought medical attention for the lump she found in her armpit. It was the size of a golf ball. A biopsy confirmed stage 3 breast cancer. Immediately, arrangements were made for her to attend a Times of Refreshing Wellness Retreat already in progress. After only seven days at TOR, Norma returned home and continued on the program for two weeks. The lump decreased in size. Afterward, it regressed to stage 1, and she could barely locate the lump.
Without the biopsy, no medical professional would confirm cancer ever existed or that she was healed of cancer through natural means. A biopsy, we learned, involves seeding, which creates a cancerous path through the body along the path of insertion. Essentially, this spreads the cancer. This is no real problem in the medical world, since aggressive treatment is projected. Many people who are convicted to go the natural way choose not to have a biopsy for that very reason.
Norma’s testimony is part of our broadcast this morning. However, you can watch her original testimony below.
