Worship: Table of Shewbread / Wellness: What Drugs Really Do

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Showing how the table of shewbread in the Holy Place of the sanctuary really refers to God’s Word and what that means for us personally, Pastor Flemons used these Bible texts: Isaiah 14:12-14; Matthew 4:4; Jeremiah 15:16; Job 23:12; Philippians 4:8; Colossians 4:6; and John 17:17. We were encouraged to continue in God’s Word, as true disciples do. We were cautioned to keep tradition subject to God’s Word. It is when tradition is held superior to God’s Word that persecution of Christians happen.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Think of drugs this way. Pastor Flemons frequently asks this question: How can anything that makes a well man sick, make a sick man well? Quoting a passage from the book Ministry of Healing, by Ellen G. White, Pastor Flemons emphasized this: “Drugs do not cure.” They only change “the form and location of the disease.” Refer to pages 126 and 127 at this link: http://www.whiteestate.org/books/mh/mh8.html.

QT/QT  Responding to a question about liver cancer, Pastor Flemons suggested beginning with 96 ounces of vegetable juices taken in small doses throughout the day. He also made other recommendations, including coffee enemas.
