Worship: Mystery of Godliness / Wellness: Scheduling the Refreshing Way, Part 1

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The mystery of godliness is that “God was manifest in the flesh.” The key Bible text used was 1 Timothy 3:16. God came in the flesh, fully human and fully divine. That is the mystery. A false and often misunderstood term thought to refer to Jesus is the Immaculate Conception, a Catholic expression, which refers to the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was not conceived in sin like all of humanity, but was somehow divine. This belief concludes that Jesus cannot have become fully human. That is not biblical according to John 1:14; Hebrews 2:14, 16,17; and 4:15. Pastor Flemons emphasized these points: Christ had to become a man; only mankind can die; only God has power over the devil.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons encouraged listeners to schedule the REFRESHING way lifestyle. He suggested prayer upon waking, drinking warm lemon water (1 oz lemon juice, 16 oz water), Bible study, the Worship and Wellness broadcast, a smoothie, a morning walk, and a substantial breakfast.

QT/QT Discussion about kidney stones, how they develop and how to safely pass them naturally, generated valuable information. Pastor Flemons recommends drinking plenty of water, drinking apple juice (1 quart/day for 2-3 weeks) to dissolve the stones, taking equal parts of lemon juice and olive oil in the evening, and adopting a plant-based diet to prevent reoccurrence. The size of the stones must be considered in deciding to engage this method. Gallstones may be treated in the same manner.
