Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The Bible describes the beast as a nation with a system that would take over the church on the earth. It rose out of a populated area. It is associated with pagan Rome, which gave it power, a throne. It claims to be God on Earth. It claims to forgive sin. It claims infallibility. It appears to be peaceable; but it persecutes. Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness and naturopathy, provided details of how one woman is medication free and is overcoming a plethora of prescribed medications: 15. She was initially taking 30 meds, beginning in the 1980s. She was diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension, post traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. (Read more below.)
QT/QT One question (from a listener) was asked of the guest who just gave up 15 medications: What made you do it? The answer was simple and direct: “The Lord.”

For Heaven’s Sake…
Pastor Flemons used these Bible passages in this order to identify the beast.
Revelation 1:1-3 describes the route of God’s word to us and promises a blessing to those who read, hear and keep (obey) the things in this book:
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Daniel 7:23 identifies a beast in Bible prophecy as a kingdom or nation:
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Revelation 13:1 gives features of the beast, which include rising from the sea and the name of blasphemy:
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Revelation 17:15 tells us that water in prophecy represents a highly populated area:
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Revelation 12:3-5 points to pagan Rome, under the rulership of Herod, who sought to kill Jesus as an infant; this Jesus ascended into Heaven to the throne of God:
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Revelation 12:9 further identifies the dragon as the Devil, Satan, who inspired Herod’s jealousy and murderous intent:
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Mark 2:7 defines blasphemy (mentioned in Revelation 13:1) as a man claiming to forgive sins, something only GOD can do:
7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
John 10:33 further confirms blasphemy as a man claiming he is GOD:
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Revelation 13:2 shows where the beast (pagan Rome) got its power, its throne and authority:
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Read Daniel 7 and 3 (the entire chapters) about the succession of beasts, rather the succession of world powers, and note when, how, and why certain religious laws with a death decree were enacted. June 15 and 20 broadcasts discuss more details. A more thorough discussion can be found in the book How Christ Fulfilled the Law, by Shelem Flemons, available for purchase at the store on this site.
Pastor Flemons was careful to note that the Bible identifies the beast as the Roman Catholic Church system (not the people who simply attend Catholic churches), which rules the church with tradition rather than Scripture. Tomorrow, Pastor Flemons will discuss what the Catholic Church says is its mark of authority.

Her coaching began before arriving at Times of Refreshing Wellness Retreat with dietary change, which lowered her sugar levels. After arriving at the retreat, she has been on a feast of green drinks providing a high level of nutrition daily, which also have helped normalize blood pressure and calm nerves. Ingredients like stringbeans, kale, cucumber (diuretic), and celery with Granny Smith apples that sweeten without raising sugar levels combine for nutritious green drinks. Ginger and lemon are added for taste. A regimen of herbs that include golden seal, passion flower, peppermint, and juniper berries, along with cayenne and lobelia when needed, are included. The results already are miraculous!
