Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Daniel was in vision when he was given the 2300-day prophecy that began in 457 BC and ended in 1844 AD. The angel Gabriel, most likely also the saint mentioned in Daniel 8:13-16, explained the vision to Daniel. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Juice fasting alone will shrink a tumor, says Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness and naturopathy. It has a spiritual application as well. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Joel 2:25-26 And I will restore to you the years the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

For Heaven’s Sake…
In Daniel 9:20-27, we see that Gabriel approached Daniel while Daniel was in prayer, confessing his sin and the sin of the people of Israel. Gabriel informed Daniel that the 2300-day prophecy had landmarks of dated events, ending with the cleansing of the sanctuary. These dated events were the baptism of Jesus, the Messiah; the crucifixion of the Messiah; and the probationary time of the Jewish nation, which ended with the stoning of Stephen. It was then that the gospel officially went to the Gentiles.
Daniel 9:20-27 (KJV)
20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
For Health’s Sake…
Matthew 17:20-21 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Pastor Flemons says we have spiritual mountains in our lives that will only move when we fast. A tumor is like a mountain, he says. But God says it can move, and we should move it. Our God-given simple remedy is fasting.
Appetite is the strongest urge of mankind. To fast, you must deny yourself when urged to eat. Because people love to eat, fasting can be a real challenge. Although it isn’t always easy, fasting is not penance, says Pastor Flemons. It is no guarantee that God will hear your prayer and grant your request just because you fast. Fasting, however, helps us overcome selfishness, which is a character trait that, only as it decreases, allows the Spirit of God to increase within us. Self must be won over by the Spirit of God, and fasting (while praying and asking for God’s presence and feasting on God’s word) is one of the best ways this can happen. Because the Spirit quickens (John 6:63), you have powerful access to spiritual healing.
Physically speaking, fasting is probably one of the best ways to flush out toxins from the system and bring healing. All the nutrition in the juice will begin the process of elimination and healing can begin. As a result, the organs of elimination will work more efficiently. The kidneys begin to flush. The liver begins to detoxify. The blood becomes pure. And disease goes away, says Pastor Flemons. End of story.
Fasting alone is amazing. And that, without even discussing the benefits of herbs and eating raw and engaging in other healthy practices to overcome disease. Times of Refreshing Wellness Ministry has chosen Wednesdays as fast days. Pastor Flemons invites you to join us: maybe for half a day or to eat only raw foods for all of your meals or to take only juices. We are praying to expand Times of Refreshing so that our doors are never closed and guests can stay as long as they choose to without any break. We are praying for a campus where teams of medical missionaries will rotate for continuous healing of guests. “Pray with us, please,” is his request “that God will sustain the ministry, for healing for guests, for expansion. We need a campus, and we believe God is going to do something.”
