Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Usually God’s justice is mixed with mercy. There is much evidence of that both in Scripture (with Nebuchadnezzar, David, Saul/Apostle Paul, and others) and in our personal testimonies. But that is not the case in the third angel’s message. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Mark 1:29-31 tells of a healing performed by Jesus in the home of Simon and his brother Andrew. Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a fever. Jesus simply took her by the hand and the fever left–immediately. The next line in the story is simply this: “she ministered unto them.” That is her legacy. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

For Heaven’s Sake…
This is the message of the third angel, according to the vision of John:
Revelation 14:9-12
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. King James Version (KJV)
Pastor Flemons explained that Revelation 13:16-17 sheds light on the third angel’s message:
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
With the hands we work and make a living. Our economic status will be affected. With the head, we decide what it is we believe. Our beliefs govern our actions. Pastor Flemons says, “Many will not be saved not because they truly believed a lie, but because they neglected the opportunity to know the truth.”
He then reviewed a passage of Scripture, Revelation 13:1-10, which provides the identifying marks of the beast. This beast points to none other than the Roman Catholic Church. The mark of the Roman Catholic Church, as they themselves proudly claim, is Sunday sacredness.
“Sunday is our mark of authority. . . the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.
“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act. . . And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things.” H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons.
Many other such statements like these two were provided in an earlier broadcast. (For those, visit this link: https://torwm.org/2016/08/18/worship-catholicisms-mark-of-authority-wellness-less-30-meds/.)
The Bible is clear. The seventh day is the Sabbath, the Lord’s Day. All of Christendom affirms Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. The Bible refers to Fridays, the 6th day of the week, as preparation day, because it is the final day to prepare for Sabbath, the seventh day. The Bible refers to the day we call Sunday as the first day of the week. Every annual celebration of the crucifixion and resurrection should anchor this fact in the mind every believer.
There should be no question which day is the Sabbath. Still, the fourth commandment begins with one critical word: Remember. Still, there are Sunday sacredness laws already on the books. They are just not yet enforced. The Bible says we are to watch and pray. Watch the political world. Watch the civil activities going on now. Watch the weather patterns. Watch the movements of the pope. Movements are happening rapidly.
“Bible prophecy has never failed,” says Pastor Flemons. While we have time, let us allow God to prepare our hearts for the soon return of Jesus. “We must keep the Sabbath holy,” pleads Pastor Flemons. It is His sign or mark of God’s people.
“God always gives us enough evidence upon which to base our faith,” says Pastor Flemons, “but He never removes all possibility of doubt.”
For Health’s Sake…
Jesus knew what she would do upon being healed. She would minister. Sometimes, in His mercy, God will allow some to pass away at a time when their hearts are in the right place just to save them, says Pastor Flemons. He knows what would be their legacy if they were to live.
What would be ours, asks Pastor Flemons, if we were to be healed? After sharing the story of twice treating one who was healed on the first occasion but passed with the second bout, Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness and naturopathy, asked that we consider our lifestyle and our legacy. He said, “It is better to be sleep in Jesus than to be alive and well and working for the devil.
