For Heaven’s Sake…
Before you take step 1, there must be preparation. Psalm 119:105 states, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” You must be on the platform of truth. Your life must be in harmony with God’s word.
First, examine yourself. If you are not in harmony with the basic principles of God’s word, you must first surrender your will to God and make the necessary adjustments in your life. Now that you are on the platform of truth you may proceed with the three steps.
1. Do your best with what lies nearest. Luke 16:10 states, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” If you’re in a good marriage, make it better. If you are in a bad marriage, make it better. The same goes for jobs, friendships and other circumstances. Then in time, God will guide you to the next level.
2. Commit to the LORD your way, your marriage, your career, your friendship. Psalm 37:5 states, “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Proverbs 16:3 states, Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
3. Watch for indications of Providence. In other words, watch for opportunities and open doors and try them or go through them. Never break down or bulldoze a closed door. Once you take a step forward into an open door, look for the confirmation. God will confirm it, if you are walking in the right way. Isaiah 30:21 states, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
These principles cannot be applied if you are living outside of basic Bible principles. Neither do they apply for a career or marriage to a person clearly out of harmony with the word of God.

For Health’s Sake…
“Acne occurs when the oil glands (sebaceous glands) within a hair follicle produce too much oil. This excessive oil combines with dead cells and bacteria and the follicle gets clogged. Acne is an effort of your body to free itself from toxins and imbalances by using the oil (sebaceous glands). When the follicle seals on the skin surface, it is a whitehead. When the bacteria within the clogged follicle multiplies and pushes through to the surface, it is a blackhead. It can get infected and develop bumps, nodules and scarring.
“It is most common for acne to be accelerated during puberty. During this time in life, there is an increase of metabolism for growing. This increase in metabolism causes more toxins to be produced just as a burning fire causes more smoke and ash. If the organs of elimination are not as efficient as the increase of toxins, autointoxication is the result. This explains why acne is most active during puberty. In puberty, progesterone is lowered and estrogen and testosterone are increased. This causes an increase of dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone increases sebum (oil) secretions. Growth hormone is also increased above normal limits, which in turn increases sebum secretions.
“Toxins that are not eliminated efficiently by organs such as the bowels, kidneys, and liver, are transferred to the skin. The bacteria propionibacterium acnes has been identifies as the bacteria that contributes to acne. This acne is an effort to rid the body of this bacteria and other toxins.
“There are also imbalances. The imbalance of substances includes an increase of oily sebum contributing to a clogged follicle.
“There is an increase of the function of sebum production. There is an increase in the process of inflammation as the immune system mounts a defense against bacteria.” OSDRW 1
All disease is the result of toxins and imbalances. “When disease is treated using natural remedies, you will see supernatural results,” says Pastor Flemons. Natural remedies will be discussed the final week of this month.
