Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “At the close of the thousand years, Christ again returns to the earth. He is accompanied by the host of the redeemed and attended by a retinue of angels. As He descends in terrific majesty He bids the wicked dead arise to receive their doom. They come forth, a mighty host, numberless as the sands of the sea. What a contrast to those who were raised at the first resurrection! The righteous were clothed with immortal youth and beauty. For Heaven’s Sake…
“Every eye in that vast multitude is turned to behold the glory of the Son of God. With one voice the wicked hosts exclaim: ‘Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord!’ It is not love to Jesus that inspires this utterance. The force of truth urges the words from unwilling lips. As the wicked went into their graves, so they come forth with the same enmity to Christ and the same spirit of rebellion. They are to have no new probation in which to remedy the defects of their past lives. Nothing would be gained by this. A lifetime of transgression has not softened their hearts. A second probation, were it given them, would be occupied as was the first in evading the requirements of God and exciting rebellion against Him. {GC 662.2}
“The whole wicked world stand arraigned at the bar of God on the charge of high treason against the government of heaven. They have none to plead their cause; they are without excuse; and the sentence of eternal death is pronounced against them. {GC 668.2}
“It is now evident to all that the wages of sin is not noble independence and eternal life, but slavery, ruin, and death. The wicked see what they have forfeited by their life of rebellion. “As if entranced, the wicked have looked upon the coronation of the Son of God. They see in His hands the tables of the divine law, the statutes which they have despised and transgressed. For Health’s Sake…
These substances, called xenoestrogens, are endocrine disruptors. They belong to “a category of chemicals that alter the normal function of hormones.” They are “particularly detrimental to hormone sensitive organs like the uterus and the breast, the immune and neurological systems, as well as human development,” like “bone growth, blood-clotting and reproduction in men and women,” according to an article Pastor Flemons shared from WomenInBalance.org.
Xenoestrogens can be found in everyday items. A short list for example include, “fruits and vegetables sprayed with pesticides, plastic water bottles and Tupperware, nail polish, makeup, birth control,” sunscreen lotions, preservatives and dyes. A longer list is available in the article.
The article suggests ways to avoid the “common chemicals.” It says we should be careful to “avoid all pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. Choose organic, locally-grown and in-season foods. Peel non-organic fruits and vegetables.” We should “reduce the use of plastics,” including when storing or covering foods. Pastor Flemons added that if water stored in plastic bottles are left in the heat, it would be better to simply throw them all away. We should “use glass or ceramics whenever possible.”
Furthermore, we should “use chemical-free, biodegradable laundry and household cleaning products.” That includes “chlorine-free products and unbleached paper products.” The list goes on to include “chemical free soaps and toothpastes” and other household products, health and beauty products, and typical noxious gases found near office equipment and in offices themselves and at the gas pump. “Wear gloves,” says Pastor Flemons, when you must handle the gas pump and other such chemicals.
