Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The choice is ours. We can be willing to have the character of Christ, represented by holy garments. Or we can choose the character of Satan, represented by holes in the garment. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake The choice is ours. Either, we can fight to overcome cancer or not get it in the first place. Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says annual screenings don’t prevent colorectal cancer or any other cancer. Wise choices in diet and lifestyle do. To begin with: don’t eat the flesh of animals or their byproducts, like dairy and eggs. Minimize the consumption of processed foods. Rather, eat whole foods and lots of raw organic and nonGMO fruits and vegetables. Eat sparingly of nuts daily. Choose nuts and grains that are alkaline and eat less of those that are acidic. It is the REFRESHING Way diet and lifestyle that, when followed, is best to avoid colon cancer.

Words of Encouragement
James 2:17, 18 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
1 John 2:1-6 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (Also read DA 668.2, Proverbs 4:13; Deuteronomy 4:39, 40.)
For Heaven’s Sake…
Priests represent Christ. Christians represent Christ and are His priests too. As we already learned in 1 Peter 2:9, Christians are chosen to be “a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people.” No holes or tears were to be in the garments of the priests. “The high priest who dared to appear in holy office. . .with a rent robe, was looked upon as having severed himself from God. . .[Take the example of the high priest’s action of renting his robe, as he sought to condemn Christ to the cross.] He was no longer accepted by God as an officiating priest; he pronounced sentence upon Christ as a blasphemer, and expressed his horror of this sin by rending his official robe, but in this act he himself was committing blasphemy. Even after the death of Christ, as a fulfillment of prophecy, His garment was not rent. John 19:23, 24; Ps. 22:18.” (Please listen to the recording to hear more details.)
