Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The way the onyx stones and breastplate were bound together ensured that Israel’s warriors were to be “victors in their spiritual warfare.” (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says he agrees with the health.news article that suggests remedies to heal an under- or over-functioning thyroid. Rather, he agrees with all but one of the tonics and teas suggested. Bone broth: he would never endorse that! (Read more below.)

Sharing Time Pastor Flemons responded to a question regarding identifying herbs. There is an herbal PDR that has pictures of herbs for identifying. And Sis. Jennifer personally thanked givers for continuing to fund the widow’s campaign.
Special Prayer for call-in listener 5827. Please pray for her and her family, that they will do God’s will and tell others about Him. Pray also for health and finances and that He will work out things for her car that was in an accident. She also requests that we pray for Pastor Flemons, his associates, and the ministry.
Prayer is being requested for one of our listeners, who has some special need today. Also Sis. V. Chester is asking that we pray she finds some lost things.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you.

Words of Encouragement
1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Also read CIHS 119.)
For Heaven’s Sake…
In each of the four corners of the finished breastplate was a ring of gold: two above and two below. “To the two upper rings ‘wreathen chains’ of pure gold were fastened with ‘ouches’ or clasps, of gold. These chains reached to rings in the onyx shoulder pieces of the ephod to which they were joined with clasps of gold, thus binding the onyx stones to the breastplate–the army’s reserve to the mature and tried warriors. These chains were made double strong, being ‘wreathen’–twisted and interwoven–veritable cables of pure gold. Ex. 28:13, 14; 39:15-18. So Christ binds His children together, young and old, and according to His Word, no one shall ‘pluck them out of My Father’s hand.’ John 10:29. How important that these chains were of ‘wreathen gold!’
“In the two lower rings, the breastplate was fastened to gold rings on the two sides of the ephod, next to the curious girdle with a ‘lace of blue.’ Ex 28:28. Think of it! A lace of blue, representing obedience to heavenly truth, bound Israel’s warriors close to the girdle–that part of the military dress which was connected with the sword, in this case ‘ the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.’ Ephesians 6:17.”
(Please read Exodus 28:13, 14, 28; Exodus 39:15-18; John 10:29; Ephesians 6:17; Revelation 22:11. Please listen to the recording to hear more important details and sing with Pastor Flemons, as he sings the Hymn 495, “Near to the Heart of God.”)

For Health’s Sake…
Those he does endorse are these:
1. Dandelion tea – made with two teaspoons of dried dandelion root and leaves and steeped with a fresh lemon zest infuser for 15 to 20 minutes. Add half a teaspoon of raw honey, stir, and drink.
2. Siberian ginseng, now called eleutherococcus – “brewed and paired with orange peel or zest.” Eleutherococcus requires a longer cooking time, about two to three hours, to extract the herbal benefits.”
3. Chaga – mixed in a smoothie or made into a matcha-like tea drink.
4. Ashwagandha – mixed with coconut or almond milk.
6. Astragalus tea – made by steeping “a quarter teaspoon of dried astragalus root for five minutes” and adding some lavender buds or turmeric, then “a bit of raw honey.”
7. Maca tonic, containing vitamins B, C, E – made by combining a scoop of maca with one teaspoon each of cinnamon and ginger. “Then, mix with warm coconut milk, half teaspoon of honey, and a half teaspoon of MCT oil,” like coconut oil.
8. Rhodiola tincture – added to juice or smoothies or herbal teas.
9. Ginger tea – made by adding “three to four slices of ginger root to a saucepan of three to four cups of boiling water. Let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the ginger slices after, and add honey.”
Pastor Flemons added one of his own: TOR’s thyroid formula, available upon request.
How can you know you have a malfunctioning thyroid? The symptoms to watch for include “brain fog, a slower metabolism, fatigue, and even depression.”
