Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The sanctuary’s roof was made of four coverings that “represent the four phases of the life and work of Christ in the plan of salvation.” The outer covering was made of badgers’ skin, and beneath it was rams’ skins dyed red. Beneath the two was the covering of goat’s hair. The fourth covering or innermost covering, was the royal covering of blue, purple and scarlet. It formed the ceiling and featured embroidered angels, visible only from within the sanctuary.
The four coverings in order from outer to inner covering represented humility, sacrifice, sinlessness, and royalty. They represent the “true beauty of character, not only of Christ, but of every true Christian: as the gold, the rich embroidery, and the royal colors within, are all beneath the plain outer covering, so ‘the Kings’ daughter is all glorious within.’ Ps. 45:13. Outward adorning indicates lack of inward beauty, of true Christian character. Humility, sacrifice, sinlessness, and royalty–this is the road that leads into the secret chamber of the Most High. It is the road to victory, The Path to the Throne of God.”

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that meals must be a pleasant social experience for healthy digestion. When it is not, the appetite for good food right in front of you can be lost, not only for adults but for children as well. Pastor Flemons explained why that happens physiologically. He also read a subsection of Ellen White’s book, Child Guidance: “Make the Mealtime a Pleasant Social Occasion.”

Sharing Time Pastor Flemons responded to a question regarding persecution during the early church and comparing that to what will be during the final crisis.
Special Prayer Please include in your prayers today call-in listener 2596/7222, who asked for safe traveling to Cleveland, for consistency in the principles of biblical wellness, for the Bible study at work–that her focus and contributions will be divinely led, for her family’s different marital situations and for her and her family’s salvation.
Also, Sis. Odessa asked that we pray for those being hit by a heat wave, particularly in Oklahoma, where temperatures reached 108 degrees, yesterday. And Sis. Chester asked that we pray for Pastor Andrew Brunson, who is on trial in Turkey for terrorism and spying. He has served in Turkey for 23 years and has been hit with an indictment that “associates ‘Christianization’ with terrorism.” “He was detained nearly two years ago and faces up to 35 years in prison if found guilty.” The North Carolina native could also be released today. Please pray for God’s justice and favor and blessing.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you!

Words of Encouragement
Matthew 24:12,13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:38,39 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For Health’s Sake…
Make the Mealtime a Pleasant Social Occasion—Mealtime should be a season for social intercourse and refreshment. Everything that can burden or irritate should be banished. Let trust and kindliness and gratitude to the Giver of all good be cherished, and the conversation will be cheerful, a pleasant flow of thought that will uplift without wearying.25 {CG 387.1}
The table is not a place where rebellion should be cultivated in the children by some unreasonable course pursued by the parents. The whole family should eat with gladness, with gratitude, remembering that those who love and obey God will partake of the marriage supper of the Lamb in the kingdom of God, and Jesus Himself will serve them.26 {CG 387.2}
