Worship: For Heaven’s Sake GOD uses prophecies to authenticate Himself. Prophecies in the Old Testament authenticate that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Jesus, Himself, provided signs of His Second Coming. Pastor Flemons read in part and commented on those listed in Matthew 24. Jesus predicted many would pretend to be the Christ and many would be deceived by them. He warned that there would be wars and rumors of wars and that famines, pestilences, and earthquakes would occur in various places with greater intensity. He told of persecutions to come to those who believe in Him, that Christians would be hated by all nations. He said that hatred and betrayal would be common. He said that false prophets would deceive many. He said that sin would be so rampant that love would “wax cold.” The end would come, He said, when “this gospel of the kingdom” shall have been preached “in all the world for a witness unto all nations.”

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, reviewed and commented on a health.news article about the impact of obesity on inflammation and breast cancer. A study has found that obesity increases inflammation in the body to a harmful level. Too much inflammation, says Pastor Flemons, is implicated in nearly all major diseases. The study also found that those who become “obese after menopause are more prone to having breast cancer.” Obesity, they have learned, affects the metabolism of breast cancer cells, which makes them more aggressive. To prevent obesity, excess inflammation, and breast cancer, Pastor Flemons recommends a total plant-based diet and the REFRESHING Way lifestyle, which promotes and ensures biblical wellness.
