Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Faith reform follows talks by Pastor Flemons on a number of reforms instituted after 1798, including the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Sanctuary, the Sabbath, Worship, Country Living, as well as Financial, Education, Home, and Prophetic reforms in his series “Preparation for the Final Crisis.” It’s preparation for Heaven, he says.
True acts of righteousness is right doing that happens by faith. People are struggling with various things, because they lack faith. You can never even truly obey without faith, he says. When you are struggling, stop focusing on the problem. Rather, focus on God’s power to help. Focus on His promises. Meet the conditions, and claim the promises.
Faith is believing what God says and then acting upon that belief. It has two components. It is believing that God IS, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is believing that God has limitless power and that His love for you is personal: that He would personally do for you what He has promised in His Word.
Money, houses, land: those are not what we need. What we need, says Pastor Flemons, is the favor of God. And we may have His favor by faith. “When we learn the power of His word, we shall not follow the suggestions of Satan in order to obtain food or to save our lives. Our only questions will be, What is God’s command? and what His promise? Knowing these, we shall obey the one, and trust the other.” {DA 121.2}
“The only thing in our world upon which we can rely is the word of God. ‘Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’ Matthew 6:33.” {DA 121.2}
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” 1 John 5:4.

White, DA 121, and listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons, who sang the Scripture song 1 John 5:4, as well as short phrases of “He’s Able,” “Somebody Bigger Than You and I,” and “Jacob’s Ladder.”]
Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says valerian (in tincture form) and Jamaican dogwood, maybe with the addition of cayenne, would be his favorite herbs for pain management. There are other herbs that are also good he says. But first he offered a tip.
Herbs known to relax nerves, that induce sleep, and have a calming effect, are herbs that also ease pain. They include white willow bark (from which aspirin is made), skullcap, and hops. They can be mixed together. You cannot overdose, he says. The pain may be severe enough to take a whole dropper filled with valerian.
Nevertheless, the lifestyle component is important for pain management. You must drink plenty of water. Make sure you are not dehydrated. And commit to a total plant-based diet. It encourages alkalinity, which lowers inflammation, which itself is the cause of pain. Lots of green juice lowers inflammation, as well.
“Try extra strength curcumen,” he says. It is the component in turmeric. Even so, you would have to take a lot of turmeric to equal one capsule of extra strength curcumen. He has found that coffee enemas are effective in managing pain. He also discussed his view on taking these herbs and pain meds, and has had no problems. But he urges that it be your call, your decision.
