Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Unity reform follows talks by Pastor Flemons on a number of reforms instituted after 1798, when the Dark Ages ended. These reforms included the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Sanctuary, the Sabbath, Worship, Country Living, as well as Financial, Education, Home, Prophetic, and Faith reforms in his series “Preparation for the Final Crisis.” It’s preparation for Heaven, he says. The prayer of Jesus Christ in John 17, expresses the desire that Christians be one, unified, as are Jesus and His Father.
In part 2 of Unity Reform, Pastor Flemons shared pertinent readings, particularly these two. “Let all dissension and strife cease. Let love and unity prevail. Let all move under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If God’s people will give themselves wholly to Him, He will restore to them the power they have lost by division. May God help us all to realize that disunion is weakness and that union is strength.—Letter 32, 1903. {1SM 85.2}
“Unity in diversity among God’s children—the manifestation of love and forbearance in spite of difference of disposition—this is the testimony that God sent His Son into the world to save sinners.10 {SD 286.2}

Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that diabetics are at an increased risk of kidney disease. In fact, a study found that “about 1 out of 4 adults with diabetes also suffer from kidney disease.” These facts reported in the health.news article that Pastor Flemons read to listeners, accompanied further details of the study, which found aerobic exercise to be the best in decreasing the risk of kidney disease among diabetics.
But more than that, Pastor Flemons says, “You don’t have to have type 2 diabetes.” In order to prevent and overcome diabetes, he recommends a total plant-based diet and a change in lifestyle. He says to eat lots of raw foods, lots of salads. He advises taking TOR’s formula for diabetes, called Diabetez. It can be taken in tea or tonic form and will lower blood sugar.
Because diabetics may tend to be low in chromium, he says to get a supplement from the health food store. Also drink plenty of water. Drink a minimum of your daily recommended intake, which is half of your body’s weight in ounces. A big part of the problem, he says is in eating animal products, which is a must to eliminate. He also warns against eating processed foods and white flour products.
Of course, you must persevere. It’s going to take work, he says. And, it’s going to take some time. Exercise is only part of the answer.
