Worship: For Heaven’s Sake When you pray, picture yourself in the Most Holy place taking to the Father and Son.
Not because we see or feel that God hears us are we to believe. We are to trust in His promises. When we come to Him in faith, every petition enters the heart of God. When we have asked for His blessing, we should believe that we receive it, and thank Him that we have received it. Then we are to go about our duties, assured that the blessing will be realized when we need it most. DA 200
When we have learned to do this, we shall know that our prayers are answered. God will do for us “exceeding abundantly,” “according to the riches of His glory,” and “the working of His mighty power.” Ephesians 3:20, 16; 1:19. DA 200
Pastor Flemons sang a scripture song based upon 1 John 5:14,15. “And this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever ask, we know that we have the petition that we desire of him.”
During the broadcast, the pastor’s call dropped, the first time in 1303 broadcasts. He believes that the devil does not want the people to hear these messages of on prayer and faith. He read the following quote in support of Satan’s distaste for our fasting and prayer:
“Satan cannot endure to have his powerful rival appealed to, for he fears and trembles before His [Christ’s] strength and majesty. At the sound of fervent prayer, Satan’s whole host trembles…. “MYP 53

Worship: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons gave us some instructions to help us through the fast when we need something warm on our stomachs. It’s a quick potato soup. Cube a large potato or use the small potatoes. Boil them for 15 minutes.. Place the potatoes in a high powered blender and add enough water to cover the potatoes. More water makes it thinner and less water makes it thicker. Blend until the soup is piping hot, usually about 3 minutes in a vitamix or blendec blender.
Season the soup and its ready to enjoy! This can be drunk in place of a smoothie.
We are also relisting the general juice recipe for our 10 day cleanse. This is day 3.
TORSOE LEAN GREEN JUICE
1 Bunch of kale
1 Stalk of celery
1 large cucumber
1/2 lemon
1 inch of ginger root
Juice all ingredients

Sharing and Caring Time Sis. Maria gave us steps 7-10 of “The Cleansing Prayer.”
- 1. “Ask God to reveal anything that has separated you from Him. This may include wrong behavior, negative thoughts, sinful feelings, wrong desires, criticism, resentment, and bitterness or painful memories” These painful memories can date back to our childhood.
- 2. Ask our heavenly father to reveal any sin; hurtful memories; negative, sinful behavior; thoughts; feelings; or motives that you may be harboring in your heart. Wait quietly before him allowing him to speak to your heart.
- 3. Once he has revealed your sin or painful emotions, confess these by claiming his blood to cover the sin and heal your painful emotions.
- 4. Ask Jesus to cleanse your memories of the sin or painful emotions.
- 5. Ask Jesus to cleanse you to the third and fourth generation where the tendency to this sin may have been passed on through your lineage.
- 6. Ask Jesus to cleanse you from sin and remove the painful emotions from your amygdala.
- 7. Ask Jesus to cleanse your record from the sin and the memory of it.
- 8. Ask to be covered by the perfection of Christ’s life. You may find Scriptures that reveal the way He acted and felt in a similar situation.
- 9. Ask Jesus to blot out the sin and put it upon the head of the scapegoat (Satan).
- 10. At this point in your prayer, it is important for you to ask Jesus to cast out every demon that is responsible for leading you into the sin you have confessed and renounced
Additional quotes on the power of prayer were also shared:
When Praying For the Sick
The desire of God for every human being is expressed in the words, ‘Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.’ 3 John 2. He it is who ‘forgiveth all thine iniquities; who health all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowned the the with loving kindness and tender mercies.” Psalms 103:3,4 (The Ministry of Healing page 113)
God knows the end from the beginning. He is acquainted with the hearts of all men. He reads every secret of the soul. He knows whether those for whom prayer is offered would or would not be able to endure the trials that would come upon them should they live. He knows whether their lives would be a blessing or a curse to themselves and to the world. This is one reason why, while presenting our petitions with earnestness, we should say, “Nevertheless not my will, but Thine, be done.” Luke 22:42. Jesus added these words of submission to the wisdom and will of God when in the Garden of Gethsemane He pleaded, “O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me.” Matthew 26:39. And if they were appropriate for Him, the Son of God, how much more are they becoming on the lips of finite, erring mortals! { MH 230.1}
The consistent course is to commit our desires to our all-wise heavenly Father, and then, in perfect confidence, trust all to Him. We know that God hears us if we ask according to His will. But to press our petitions without a submissive spirit is not right; our prayers must take the form, not of command, but of intercession. { MH 230.2}
There are cases where God works decidedly by His divine power in the restoration of health. But not all the sick are healed. Many are laid away to sleep in Jesus. John on the Isle of Patmos was bidden to write: “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.” Revelation 14:13. From this we see that if persons are not raised to health, they should not on this account be judged as wanting in faith. { MH 230.3}
