How To Apply – Rely On God
- 1. Study the Bible daily for at least a half hour. Continually increase your Bible study time.
- 2. It is best to study the scriptures as soon as you awaken in the morning. Also, it is good to meditate upon the scriptures before going to bed.
- 3. As you study, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth.
- 4. Have devotion with your family morning and evening. Family devotion may consist of songs, prayer, Bible or inspired reading and discussion.
- 5. When you find a Bible promise, believe it as though it has already happened.
- 6. Promises of healing should be committed to memory. Some of these healing promises are found below:

7. The healing miracles of Jesus should also be studied. The following table gives the main texts for the healing miracles of Christ. Study each one carefully and draw principles from Christ’s example:

God’s promises, described in the Bible as “exceeding great and precious,” are the means by which we place our trust in Him. “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust,” 2 Peter 1:4. When I believe God’s promises, I first of all “Believe that He is,” that is to say that I believe that God exists and therefore is able to heal me. I must also believe that “He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him,” Hebrews 11:6. This means that I believe not only that God is able, but that He is thrilled with the thought of healing me if my recovery will bring glory to His name. He loves to reward the diligent seeker.
