Worship: For Heaven’s Sake No matter your background or faulty upbringing, God still has a plan for your life. And He is willing to consecrate you to serve Him. Aholiab is a testimony to that. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says the best way to celebrate another year of life is to “lay off the sugar.” In other words, don’t feast on birthday cake. Instead, do something for someone else. It is the final element in the REFRESHING Way lifestyle. The “G” stands for giving to others. Pastor Flemons, in his typical missionary style, is celebrating his birthday today by helping a family of seniors and missionaries relocate from Florida to South Carolina. (Read more below.)
(NOTE: Before following any advice given here, please read our disclaimer on this page.)
Special Prayer for Pastor Flemons, celebrating his 50th birthday! (Please pray that GOD will use him in a very special way, fill him with the Spirit of wisdom in leading TOR and for the plans for the wellness campus, provide for the ministry, give him total and complete and immediate victory over every defect in his character, and for his family.) Also, please pray for Sis. Lorian and the family of Brittani, who just passed away; pray for Bro. De Vega and his wife Erika, who is pregnant, as well as for Gabriel; pray for Sis. Rosalee’s granddaughter, who has been vomiting for days.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you.

Words of Encouragement
2 Samuel 22:30, 31 For by thee I have run through a troop: By my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; The word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
Job 13:15, 16 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him. He also shall be my salvation: For an hypocrite shall not come before him.
For Heaven’s Sake…
Aholiab was of the tribe of Dan. His mother was an Israelite, and his father was an Egyptian. The Bible describes Dan as a “serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward” (Genesis 49:17). “And because of this backbiting, criticizing disposition and practice, which he never overcame, the name Dan is omitted from the genealogies of the tribes in 1 Chronicles, and also from the list of those who are sealed, as given in Revelation 7. If we are ever tempted to ‘backbite’ or speak unfavorably of anyone, or indulge in unkind criticism, we would do well to remember the fate of Dan.” PTG 33.3 [PTG 26.2]
Nevertheless, “the noble character of Aholiab, though a descendant of the tribe of Dan, shows that no matter what our environment or pedigree, we need not be like those who disobey God, even though our lot may be cast among them.” PTG 33.4 [PTG 26.4]
Aholiah was called to do a special work for God. He was “to work all manner of work, of the engraver, . . . and of the embroider, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver” Exodus 35:34, 35.
The life story of Aholiab “furnishes a most excellent demonstration of the truth that ‘God is no respecter of persons; but in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.’ Acts 10:34, 35.” PTG 33.7 [PTG 26.6]
For Health’s Sake…
The wellness segment for the morning also featured how to make your own healthy infant formula, which is necessary during those times when breast milk is unavailable. Here’s how Sis. Annette Gillam recently made infant formula for her granddaughter. She followed the unction of the Holy Spirit as she researched and altered another basic recipe.
Healthy Infant Formula
Blend the following:
- 3 cups, coconut milk*
- 1 teaspoon, flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon, chia seed
- 1 date
- 1/4 ripe banana
- 1 – 1 1/2 tablespoon(s), molasses
- 2 teaspoons, flaxseed oil
- 2 teaspoons, extra virgin, cold-pressed, organic, nonGMO coconut oil
- 4 cups, distilled water
*Please note that Sis. Annette made her own coconut milk by blending and then straining through a cheesecloth the following:
- 4 cups, distilled water
- 2 cups, dried organic or fresh coconut
The unused portion of this healthy infant formula should be refrigerated and used within 3 to 4 days.
It should be noted that the coconut milk formula is close to that of mother’s milk and is good for decongestion. Further information about the many nutritional and healing benefits of the coconut is provided at coconutresearchcenter.org.
