Worship: Talents, Money With Evil Heart Mean Nothing / Wellness: When Your Child Wets the Bed

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Your talents and your money “mean nothing if your heart is not right,” says Pastor Shelem Flemons. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says there are other reasons for bedwetting besides drinking too much liquid too close to bedtime. Dehydration, or drinking too little water throughout the day, causes gas buildup that presses against the bladder. (Divide your child’s weight in half to learn how many ounces of water he or she should be drinking every day.) Maybe they are consuming caffeine or chocolate or dairy or meat. They all can lead to an overactive bladder. Giving your child a simple plant-based diet is best. And, if necessary, consider giving them uva ursi, which is an herbal diuretic that will strengthen the bladder. Then consider adopting  for yourself and for them the REFRESHING Way lifestyle.

Special Prayer for call-in listener 6229, who is requesting prayer for her mother and children. We also prayed for a playback listener, who needs healing from lung removal surgery, and for Brittani’s family, particularly her grieving mother, Sis. Lorian.

Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you.

Words of Encouragement

James 1:2, 3  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

For Heaven’s Sake…

“‘Our hearts must be right before God, our motives must be wholly unselfish, so that day by day, God can fill us with the spirit of wisdom–that wisdom from above which is ‘first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy’ (James 3:17). Filled with such wisdom, there will be no place for unholy ambition self-seeking, strife, stubbornness, or unfriendliness toward any fellow worker. All will be peace, good will, and absolute honesty. With such God can work, and His work will prosper.” PTG 34 [PTG 27]

Let this never be forgotten: “There is no limit to the usefulness of one who, putting self aside, makes room for the working of the Holy Spirit upon the heart, and lives a life wholly consecrated to God. All who consecrate body, soul, and spirit to His service will be constantly receiving a new endowment of physical, mental, and spiritual power.” The inexhaustible supplies of heaven are at their command. Christ gives them the breath of His own Spirit, the life of His own life. The Holy Spirit puts forth its highest energies to work in mind and heart. Through the grace given us we may achieve victories that because of our own erroneous and preconceived opinions, our defects of character, our smallness of faith, have seemed impossible. (MH 159.4)

“To everyone who offers himself to the Lord for service, withholding nothing, is given power for the attainment of measureless results. For these God will do great things. He will work upon the minds of men so that, even in this world, there shall be seen in their lives a fulfillment of the promise of the future state.” (MH 160.1[Read Isaiah 35:1-10.]
