Matt. 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
Matt. 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
In the verses above, Jesus warns us that some will be lost because they stayed too busy doing good things, things that in and of themselves are not evil. The problem is that we stay so busy that we do not have time to commune with God in prayer and in the study of His word.

The second “R” in REFRESHING is rest.
- Go to bed and wake up at regular times everyday.
- Go to bed no later than 9:30 every night.
- Never eat within 5 hours of bedtime.
- It is permissible, though not encouraged, to retire after two hours if the only food eaten was fruit with zwieback, crackers or air-popped popcorn.
- Don’t behold or dwell on negative things before going to bed.
- Sleep in a well-ventilated room.
- Read and meditate on some scripture before going to bed.
- Drink a relaxing tea before going to bed if you have trouble sleeping. The ratio of the tea mixture is one teaspoon of the bulk herb to one cup of water that has just been boiled. Allow the herb to steep in the tea for ten to fifteen minutes. Do not add any sweetener to the tea. Relaxing tea can be made with any combination of the following herbs: Chamomile, Peppermint, Hops, Scullcap, Valerian, Lady slippery

Special Caller – prayer for her sons to allow the Lord to move in their lives and upon their hearts.
Sister asked prayer for church and their new church plans.
Sister asked prayer for friend’s daughter schooling to be homeschooled, another friend and family members to work out establishing a home church, father in pain to be healed and for the Lord to continue helping her with her children’s upbringing and for them all to yield their hearts to His will.

Prayer for all to begin the cleansing work of allowing the Lord reveal your true heart condition so that sin can be eradicated from your life and you can then be transformed into His Perfect Image. Do the cleansing prayer work now! Jesus is soon to come!
