Worship: Characteristics of God’s True Church / Wellness: Nature’s First Aid for Cuts and Burns

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  God’s true church is not a specific organization, corporation, or business structure. It is not a specific building. If it were, says Pastor Flemons, Jesus could not have said, “Your house is left unto you desolate” in Matthew 23:38. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  It really helps to know simple natural methods of first aid for typical cuts and burns. Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness and naturopathy, explains. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement

Micah 7:18, 19  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Psalm 34:6  This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

For Heaven’s Sake…

Jesus was referring to the Jewish nation, who had killed the prophets, stoned those sent to help them, and refused to receive Jesus as the Messiah.

God’s true church has two major identifying marks, according to Revelation 12:17:

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Because the Bible explains itself, Pastor Flemons used these supporting Bible texts that identify the dragon, the woman, and the remnant of her seed: Rev 12:9; Jeremiah 6:2; Isaiah 51:16; Exodus 26:12; and Joshua 23:12.

God’s true church (also called the woman and her seed, Zion, the remnant) keeps the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The dragon, Satan, is not angry at those who are already breaking God’s commandments, because he knows they will be lost if they fail to repent in time to be saved as promised.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For Health’s Sake…

Mix 1/4 cup of Epsom salts with just enough water to make a slush in a cup or bowl as required. Submerge the cut or burn. Add a cube of ice if desired. Immediate cooling and soothing and tissue rebuilding will begin. This mixture may be increased as necessary for larger burns.

Ground cayenne (or red) pepper, also known as capsicum, may tingle a bit, but it can be “put into an open wound, either in a fresh wound or an old ulcer, and it is very healing instead of irritating; but black pepper, mustard, and vinegar are irritating to an open wound and do not promote healing.” “Red pepper is one of the most wonderful herb medicines we have. We can do many things with it that we are not able to do with any other known herb. It should never be classed with black pepper, vinegar, or mustard. These are all very irritating; but red pepper is very soothing.” (Jethro Kloss, Back to Eden, p. 123.)
