Words of Encouragement
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

For Heaven’s Sake…
“Christians are supposed to be decent people,” says Pastor Flemons.
The Bible promotes decency. Pastor Flemons says, “Christians are not rude and crude people.” The job of the Holy Spirit is to soften traits of character. He also described an experience among Christianized people who participated in obnoxious, unChristian and criminal behavior. People who have been cultured to spray graffiti all over public facades may become Christianized and begin to spray so-called Christian graffiti any and everywhere, including on private property.
Heaven is an orderly place. You only have to look at time prophecies (now history) to know that God does things on time. The true Christian will be decent and orderly, says Pastor Flemons. It doesn’t help to be orderly but be indecent or decent and disorderly. God so designed it that time and space are important to our lives.
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
For Health’s Sake…
The first day at a TOR wellness retreat is the first day of a 10-day juice feast, which is a highly nutritious drink given to guests periodically throughout the day. The juice serves two purposes. It strengthens the immune system and helps detoxify the bloodstream. It supplies the body with a high dose of nutrition that cannot be gotten by simply eating. The immune system can begin to attack the disease immediately and destroy disease-causing toxins in the bloodstream.
Per the need, enemas will be given to cleanse the colon. This is a critical part of healing, as at least 70 percent of the immune system is in the gastrointestinal tract. A colon, filled with undigested and unreleased excrement, is a storehouse of disease-causing agents.
Herbal teas are given to help the body heal itself, by cleansing the seven channels of elimination. The teas also help calm and soothe the nervous system. Daily nature walks have a wonderful calming effect, aid in digestion, and allow communion with the Creator, our heavenly Father.
Labs on the first day help gauge individual challenges and needs. Labs on the last day help gauge individual progress and success. Massages and botanical wraps help aid in the elimination of toxins, and they aid in healing and relaxation.
A health class is held daily, often with the viewing of a health film. Prayer and Bible study are also offered daily. As the day begins early, with a warm glass of lemon water, the day ends early with a quiet evening of fellowship and relaxation.
Overall, the process allows a sense of refreshment and rejuvenation and health.
The next 17-day wellness retreat begins October 31, followed by a final special year-end, 10-day retreat December 4.
