Worship: For Heaven’s Sake It is important to be obedient, says Pastor Flemons. “Every command of God comes with an implied promise.” (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Consuming dairy products can essentially drill holes in your brain, says Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness. And don’t be deceived. He says, there are not two different kinds of mad cow diseases. There is not one for the elderly and another for the youth. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

For Heaven’s Sake…
“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only,” said Pastor Flemons, reading James 1:22. When we hear only and don’t do, we deceive ourselves. James (4:17) also clarifies that whoever knows “to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
There is no government without law. God’s word, His law, is given to us to help prepare us for heaven. There, His government has no end.
God takes us where we are, but He does not leave us in that same state. He refines us and sanctifies us. He cleans us up. He is preparing us for heaven.
The plan of redemption is a plan for heaven. Now is the time to practice heavenly behavior. “From one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 66:23). In heaven, there will be no stealing, no idolatry, no killing, no false witness, no coveting.
God wants to do a thorough work in our hearts, says Pastor Flemons. Heaven has paid too high a price to not finish what He started. We have to go through some fiery trials to burn out that which should not be in our characters.
Malachi 3:2 But who shall abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
For Health’s Sake…
Abnormal proteins called prions are found in brain tissue of diseased cattle with mad cow’s disease. They appear to be to the particle that transmit the infectious disease both to cattle and humans, according to information at eMedicinehealth.com at this link: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/mad_cow_disease_and_variant_creutzfeldt-jakob/article_em.htm. There we learn that “Prions are not like bacteria or viruses that cause other infectious diseases; rather, they are considered infectious abnormal proteins that are able to “induce abnormal folding of specific normal cellular proteins” according to the CDC. The CDC further states that the abnormal folding of proteins, especially in brain tissue, is responsible for the signs and symptoms of the disease.” The human form of the disease is called variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) or new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (nvCJD).
Because prions seem to only live in nervous system tissue, symptoms include jerky movements, incoordination, dementia, and memory loss. These same symptoms, which also include personality changes, appear in victims of Alzheimer’s disease. This is because, essentially, holes are in the brain. The brain is described as spongy.
According to the article, “Infection leads to tiny holes in parts of the brain, giving the tissue a sponge-like appearance when viewed with a microscope. These so-called spongy holes cause slow deterioration within the cow’s brain and eventually other symptoms develop affecting the whole body. Death follows.”
Sadly, these prions cannot be destroyed, says Pastor Flemons. Most things can be purified by fire. Fire, however, cannot destroy prions. Neither can they be destroyed with bleach. This poses peculiar problems for cleanup after probing into diseased tissue during surgical procedures. If an autopsy is requested to be performed on a victim of Alzheimer’s disease, “it probably won’t happen,” says Pastor Flemons. Similarly, burial of animals suspected of mad cow’s disease must therefore be properly contained first to keep the disease out of the soil.
Needless to say, any dairy or animal product could be contaminated with these abnormal infectious prions. Pastor Flemons issues this recommendation. Avoid meat and dairy products, and follow biblically sound principles for optimum health.
