Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Satan unfitted himself for heaven. “Satan seems paralyzed as he beholds the glory and majesty of Christ.” (GC 669.1) He sees what was once his and what could have been still. But he set himself and everyone possible against Christ. His and their end have resulted from a series of poor choices that only he and they are responsible for making. The consequences are real–and eternal. (Read more below.)

For Heaven’s Sake…
“While the earth was wrapped in the fire of destruction, the righteous abode safely in the Holy City. Upon those that had part in the first resurrection, the second death has no power. While God is to the wicked a consuming fire, He is to His people both a sun and a shield. Revelation 20:6; Psalm 84:11. {GC 673.3}
“’I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.’ Revelation 21:1. The fire that consumes the wicked purifies the earth. Every trace of the curse is swept away. No eternally burning hell will keep before the ransomed the fearful consequences of sin. {GC 674.1}
“One reminder alone remains: Our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of His crucifixion. Upon His wounded head, upon His side, His hands and feet, are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought. The earth originally given to man as his kingdom, betrayed by him into the hands of Satan, and so long held by the mighty foe, has been brought back by the great plan of redemption. All that was lost by sin has been restored. ‘Thus saith the Lord … that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited.’ Isaiah 45:18. God’s original purpose in the creation of the earth is fulfilled as it is made the eternal abode of the redeemed. ‘The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.’ Psalm 37:29.” {GC 674.3}

For Health’s Sake…
Stress causes the body to go into a fight-or-flight status. That means the body’s balancing hormone, progesterone, is used to produce cortisol to fight or flee. That also means the hormone estrogen becomes the dominant hormone. Estrogen dominance leads to a host of physical maladies, including indigestion, constipation, ulcers, gastritis and more serious conditions, like reproductive cancers in both women and men, infertility and diabetes, as reported in the most recent health segment.
Because the immune system is weakened by stress, disease is inevitable, says Pastor Flemons. But the immune system can be strengthened and disease can be hindered when the REFRESHING Way lifestyle is adopted. Relying on God is only Step 1 in the REFRESHING Way lifestyle. The next steps are Eating healthy; getting Fresh air, Rest and Exercise; using Self-control; drinking H2O – water; getting In the sun; Never giving up; and Giving to others.
So please do yourself a healthy favor: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding…It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8).
