Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Once the Day of Atonement had ended and the sins of Israel in type had been blotted out, Israel spent the next five days gathering the fruit of the land and preparing for the time of rejoicing. It was called the Feast of Ingathering. After the harvest was past, they assembled for the Feast of Tabernacles. During this feast the Israelites slept in tents, as the name tabernacles indicates. It was an annual seven-day commemoration of Israel’s passage through the wilderness. It was a time of great rejoicing.
Both feasts, Ingathering and Tabernacles, are yet to be anti typically fulfilled. Ingathering in reality is fulfilled when Jesus gathers the faithful ones from Earth: the fruit of the land. The journey to Heaven is the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles. With all of sin forever blotted out, this will be only the beginning of an eternal time of great rejoicing.
[For additional details, please read Leviticus 23, in which is discussed all seven feasts; also Isaiah 65:21-25; and “The Feast of Tabernacles, a Time of Rejoicing” in Path to the Throne of God, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck. Also, listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons and hear him sing Hymn 211, “Rejoice, the Lord Is King” and Hymn 27, “Rejoice, Ye Pure in Heart.”]
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that when you juice and drink fresh vegetables and fruits, you should really think of it as a feast, rather than a fast. For one, there is no loss of nutrition, even though there is a definite reduction of calories with very likely a loss of unneeded pounds. The juice feast promotes eating healthy and resets the body system. Juice feasting is a tasty way to get in nutrients. And juice feasting floods the body with micronutrients that cannot be gotten any other way. Pastor Flemons says that processed juice cannot be compared to the nutritional value in the juice of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Joe Cross says that juicing is so special because, it “removes the insoluble fiber from vegetables and fruits. While fiber is an established, important part of an overall healthy diet, removing the insoluble fiber allows for increased absorption of specific health promoting phytonutrients including enzymes, while the soluble fiber persists into the juice. By removing the fibers and consuming fruits and vegetables in liquid form, we are providing a nutrient delivery system to our bodies that allows individuals who would otherwise have difficulty consuming whole vegetables, the opportunity to reap the numerous benefits vegetables have to offer.”

Words of Encouragement
Acts 4:18-20 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. (Also read the devotional book, Ye Shall Receive Power, YRP 325.)
Psalm 40:7, 8 In the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. (Also read My Life Today, ML 74.)
