Worship: God’s Second Book, the Sanctuary / Wellness: 7 Reasons Natural Remedies Superior to Drugs

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake   The sanctuary is God’s object lesson to communicate the plan of salvation to sinful man in general, but first to the Israelites, who had become so degraded by slavery in Egypt. In prior years, nature was God’s only lesson book to communicate His character and plan for man’s renewal. Today, it is one of God’s clearest channels to speak to those sinfully enslaved and morally degraded. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says natural remedies are superior to drugs because (1) They aren’t toxic like drugs. (2) They help address the cause of the disease, since natural remedies encompass lifestyle. (3) Natural remedies are curative; they don’t simply palliate symptoms like drug medications. (4) Natural remedies help bring the body into balance. Drug medications throw the body further out of balance. (5) Natural remedies don’t cause more disease. Drug meds do, with side effects: some immediate, some years later. (6) Natural remedies help the body release toxins. Drug medications do not; they add toxins.    (7) God says so.  Though you use many medicines, you will not be cured. The leaves or herbs are for the healing of the nations. And it doesn’t mean you smoke them. (Read Genesis 3:18; Psalm 104:14; Jeremiah 46:11; and Revelation 22:2.)

Words of Encouragement

Psalm 139:23, 24  Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Isaiah 40:11  He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Worship: The Bible and the French Revolution / Wellness: All Drugs Affect Your Mind

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “The war against the Bible, carried forward for so many centuries in France, culminated in the scenes of the Revolution. That terrible outbreaking was but the legitimate result of Rome’s suppression of the Scriptures. . . .” GC 265.2 (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says mind-altering drugs are not all illegal. Medicinal drugs, and even sugar, affect the mind in negative ways: dizziness, drowsiness, sleeplessness, hallucinations, drepression, thoughts of suicide, for instance. They keep the mind from clearly comprehending what God is trying to say. The toxins in them cloud the brain and cause poor decisions to be made. Wherever possible, avoid them and adopt the REFRESHING Way lifestyle to biblical wellness.

Words of Encouragement

1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God and know my heart: Try me and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me the way everlasting.

For Heaven’s Sake…

“Rome had misrepresented the character of God and perverted His requirements, and now men rejected both the Bible and its Author. She had required a blind faith in her dogmas, under the pretended sanction of the Scriptures. In the reaction, Voltaire and his associates cast aside God’s word altogether and spread everywhere the poison of infidelity. Rome had ground down the people under her iron heel; and now the masses, degraded and brutalized, in their recoil from her tyranny, cast off all restraint. Enraged at the glittering cheat to which they had so long paid homage, they rejected truth and falsehood together; and mistaking license for liberty, the slaves of vice exulted in their imagined freedom. GC 281.3

“The fatal error which wrought such woe for the inhabitants of France was the ignoring of this one great truth: that true freedom lies within the proscriptions of the law of God. ‘O that thou hadst hearkened to My commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea.’ ‘There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.’ ‘But whoso hearkeneth unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.’ Isaiah 48:18, 22; Proverbs 1:33. GC 285.2

“Atheists, infidels, and apostates oppose and denounce God’s law; but the results of their influence prove that the well-being of man is bound up with his obedience of the divine statutes. Those who will not read the lesson from the book of God are bidden to read it in the history of nations. GC 285.3

“When Satan wrought through the Roman Church to lead men away from obedience, his agency was concealed, and his work was so disguised that the degradation and misery which resulted were not seen to be the fruit of transgression. And his power was so far counteracted by the working of the Spirit of God that his purposes were prevented from reaching their full fruition. The people did not trace the effect to its cause and discover the source of their miseries. But in the Revolution the law of God was openly set aside by the National Council. And in the Reign of Terror which followed, the working of cause and effect could be seen by all. GC 285.4

“God’s faithful witnesses, slain by the blasphemous power that ‘ascendeth out of the bottomless pit,’ were not long to remain silent. ‘After three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.’ Revelation 11:11. It was in 1793 that the decrees which abolished the Christian religion and set aside the Bible passed the French Assembly. Three years and a half later a resolution rescinding these decrees, thus granting toleration to the Scriptures, was adopted by the same body. The world stood aghast at the enormity of guilt which had resulted from a rejection of the Sacred Oracles, and men recognized the necessity of faith in God and His word as the foundation of virtue and morality. Saith the Lord: ‘Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel,’ Isaiah 37:23. ‘Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is Jehovah.’ Jeremiah 16:21, A.R.V.
