Worship: What Happens When We Die? Part 4 / Wellness: SAD to GLAD Diets

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Pastor Flemons cautioned listeners to never throw out numerous texts that agree to take a stand on one that seems to validate your opinion or some traditional belief. The interaction between Jesus and the thief on the cross is often misunderstood because the Bible translators put the comma in the wrong place. Note the difference: “I say unto you today, ye shall be with me in Paradise” vs “I say unto you, today ye shall be with me in Paradise.” (Read Luke 23:39-43.) It had to be the first version, since Jesus did not go to Paradise on Good Friday. Everyone knows that His body was in the tomb until resurrection morning. Even when Jesus spoke to Mary, He said He had not yet ascended to His Father in heaven. Read John 20:17.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  The Standard American Diet is SAD. But God’s Life Activating Diet is GLAD. Pastor Flemons invited listeners to go from SAD to GLAD, noting that there is no link between fruits and vegetables and diseases. And he provided a food chain demonstration for one good reason pork should be avoided.

QT/QT Discussion surrounded why pork is still eaten and the lifespan of the 10 generations before and after the flood. A 10-year-old participated in the QT and answered both quiz questions correctly, proving that the broadcast has no age barriers. It was delightful.
