Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Religious liberty and the economy is linked in Revelation 13:15-18. The Bible prophesies a time when those who refuse to be forced to worship will not be allowed to buy or sell. According to God’s promise in Amos 3:7, God’s people have been warned of this time of economic crisis ahead. Our response should be to prepare now to live frugally. When possible, move to the country. Get of the grid and prepare to live as comfortably as possible, Pastor Flemons suggested.
Wellness: For Health’s Sake So-called energy (monster) drinks are harmful in many ways, but Pastor Flemons focused on several main ones today. Usually they contain large quantities of caffeine, which can elevate the blood pressure and heart rate and cause vomiting, seizures, severe dehydration and death. They are far higher in carbohydrates than is even recommended for active people; this can cause gastrointestinal distress. They are highly acidic. The pH in such drinks can be as low as 1.5, which is stronger than sulfuric acid and nearly as strong as battery acid. That can pull calcium out of the bones, erode the teeth, cause osteoporosis and arthritis. Acidic internal environments are ideal for promoting disease. The optimum pH level in the body for health is 7.5.
