Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “Romans 7 is one of the most misunderstood chapters in the Bible,” says Pastor Flemons. There are two applications or topics in Romans 7:1-6. One is for marriage and divorce. The other is victory over sin or death to sinful temptation. It is not an excuse to ignore any of the Ten Commandments, as some have contended. (Read more below.)

For Heaven’s Sake…
Victory over sin is by the miracle of the Holy Spirit. When we surrender to Christ, a miracle happens in our heart and we are able to walk in the newness of life. We are dead to the power of sin. Just as one is free to marry if the spouse has died, those who die to self and are married to Christ will find freedom in the Spirit and can live by the Spirit to obey the will of God. When one is married to Christ, the law of sin can no longer bind that one to sin and its wages. The wages of sin is death. By the power of the Holy Spirit, the law becomes spiritual and obedience brings freedom and joy.
When we are facing overwhelming odds, God promises in Isaiah 59:19 that by His Spirit He will hold up a standard against our enemies. That essentially is the lesson in Romans 7.
For Health Sake…
For REFRESHING First Aid (while possibly waiting for 911 to respond), please follow the suggestions below:
*For symptoms of heart attacks or nausea, apply cold, moist towels on the back of the neck, on the head, and over the heart. Apply a pinch of ground cayenne pepper or a few drops of cayenne pepper tincture under the tongue.
*For poisoning or flatulence, place 1 tablespoon of charcoal powder in a glass of water, stir and drink.
*For stings, inflammation, and internal tumors, apply a charcoal poultice. Mix equal parts of charcoal powder and ground flax seed and add enough charcoal powder and stir to the consistency of toothpaste. Apply directly onto skin or apply after wrapping in one layer of a paper towel. Cover the paper towel with saran wrap to avoid staining nearby fabric.
*For an alternative to charcoal, use clay.
*For nausea and nervous disorders, drop lobelia tincture (3 – 5 drops for adults) under the tongue. More can cause vomiting.
*For a natural antibiotic, use colloidal silver (10 ppm). Drink 1 oz up to three times per day. It is one of nature’s best antibiotics. Often, natural practitioners prescribe more.
