Worship & Wellness: The Song of Moses

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The song of Moses is a song of victory, born from an experience of adversity. (Read Exodus 14.) God brought the Israelites to a place in their journey, where only divine power could bring deliverance. There can be no deliverance, however, without faith. And there is no faith without risk, says Pastor Flemons. Faithfully, Moses obeyed. He put forth his hand over the Red Sea. God parted the sea, and the rest is history. God’s people walked through the Red Sea on dry land. Even today, man’s extremities are God’s opportunities to work miraculously in our lives. Like Moses, let us gratefully allow ourselves to be God’s representatives for deliverance. ~Happy Thanksgiving!~

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Sing! Praise! Give thanks with a merry heart. (Read Exodus 15.) Just like exercise, a grateful heart has benefits of health and healing. “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). ~Happy Thanksgiving!~
