Words of Encouragement
Proverbs 3:3-4 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Psalm 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

For Heaven’s Sake…
“At this time the rite of circumcision was given to Abraham as ‘a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised.’ Romans 4:11. It was to be observed by the patriarch and his descendants as a token that they were devoted to the service of God and thus separated from idolaters, and that God accepted them as His peculiar treasure. By this rite they were pledged to fulfill, on their part, the conditions of the covenant made with Abraham. They were not to contract marriages with the heathen; for by so doing they would lose their reverence for God and His holy law; they would be tempted to engage in the sinful practices of other nations, and would be seduced into idolatry.” PP 138.1 (Ellen G. White, Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 138.1)
Companies have logos. Professional athletic teams, fraternities, sororities, clubs, even gangs have signs unique to their membership. Their members are pledged to faithfulness and loyalty. Superior to all of these and before all these existed, God established a seal as a sign of loyalty.
Ezekiel 20:12, 20 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
The Catholic Church has a sign of loyalty. It is Catholicism’s mark of authority. It is Sunday sacredness, worship on the first day of the week, rather than the biblical, God-ordained seventh day. When Sunday sacredness becomes the law of the land with penalties for “so-called lawbreakers,” all living humanity will be divided into two groups: those with the mark of the beast and those with the seal of the living God.
One group is referred to as the 144,000: the servants of God. They receive the seal of the living God in their foreheads. To the Catholic Church they are lawbreakers.
To God they are the faithful in whom was found no guile and who are without fault. They are the redeemed of the earth, having come out of great tribulation. They follow the Lamb, Jesus Christ, wherever He goes. They are the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb. Robed in white, they stand with Jesus forever and serve before the throne of God. They refused to be defiled with any other gospel than the gospel of Jesus Christ. They kept the Commandments of God, rather than the traditions of men. They remembered even the fourth commandment and kept it.
Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six day shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

For Health’s Sake…
When the body is too acidic, the body tries to compensate. It searches for calcium to alkalinize the system. Since the bones store calcium, they become the reservoir from which the body borrows calcium to repair the system.
The alkalinity of the body is notated by the letters pH, which refers to the potency of hydrogen in the system. The greater the alkalinity, the greater the potency of hydrogen. The greater the acid in the system, the less potency of hydrogen in the body.
In its effort to quickly respond, the bones release calcium at such a high rate that some of the calcium gets trapped in the thin film of fluid in the joints. This causes irritation, similar to the scraping of sand pebbles against a surface. Inflammation is the result, with pain and swelling and heat.
Drinking plenty of water helps. It is an easy way to increase alkalinity in the body. Also beneficial is eating an abundance of raw fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and grains.
