For Heaven’s Sake…
The words of God’s law were to have been found on doorposts, gates, and memorial tablets so that God’s people would meditate on them day and night. By also being obedient to them, prosperity and good success were promised. Daily they were to have been taught in the home. Every seven years they were to have been publicly rehearsed during the Feast of Tabernacles. Had the counsel been heeded, Israel would have fulfilled God’s divine purpose for them. Instead, they treated God’s law like it was graffiti: illegal. They had nothing to do with it.
For their base disregard for the law of God and for rejecting His demand upon their lives, Israel paid a severe price. Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian army took Israel by storm. By sword, famine and pestilence, thousands of Israelites perished. Many others were taken captive. Nevertheless as always, God leaves open a way back home to Him before His people: a plan to return to truth and righteousness. It is the plan of salvation.
“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God: and I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul. PK 472.1
“For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the Lord.” Verses 37-44. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities. . . . And it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. Today, as then, God’s word is to be taught daily in the home for the prosperity of the family and the nation. Also today, as then, God’s word is too often either wholly disregarded or misunderstood and misappropriated. The character of God’s people is too frequently reflected in the attitude of the Laodacean church. These lukewarm characters are neither hot nor cold and are spewed out of God’s mouth. It is only the godly character of the loving Philadelphian church exhibited in God’s people today that will go through the onslaught of trouble just ahead.
Pastor Flemons warns that we don’t wait for a crisis to build character. Build it now–daily. It is only in a crisis that character, already developed, is revealed.

For Health’s Sake…
Excellent herbs for arthritis include alfalfa, devil’s claw, yucca, turmeric, and MSM. Alfalfa is one of the greatest herbs for arthritis. Because it is a great source of calcium, it helps to lock calcium in the bones and from being leeched out to alkalinize acidic blood.
