Worship: For Heaven’s Sake We must understand that “God’s mission has always been to save us. The plan of redemption is righteousness by faith,” says Pastor Flemons. It is the power of doing right, even keeping the law, by faith.
Encased in the famous commission of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 is the keeping of the Ten Commandments. They were not done away with, and the disciples understood this. In fact, they saw that Jesus was the “perfect fulfillment of God’s law. [] The early Christian church accepted this without question, as all must do who truly believe in God as the Creator. . . As long as God is Creator, His law cannot fail. . . . No need for the Christian church to emphasize the obligation of the law, for that was at once self-evident and obvious. Their special mission was to proclaim faith in a crucified, risen, and ascended Saviour,” says Sarah Peck.
And “this is the work of medical missionaries today, says Pastor Flemons.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that people are stressed out. They take on too much and try to do too much, instead of stopping and saying, “Lord, I’m going to give this to you.”
The word stress is not even in the Bible, he says. It is rather described as distress. It is induced through not relying on God, but also through improper diet, insufficient rest, and disobeying the laws of health, as a REFRESHING lifestyle. “Most of all you must make a conscientious effort to give it all to Jesus,” he says, “regardless of the consequences.” That is what it means to rely on God.
Stress, alone, is a natural and necessary part of life. If you were to remove stress from your muscles, you would not be able to stand up straight, says Pastor Flemons. “Stress is not the problem,” he says. However, distress will kill you. Every system of the body is negatively affected when you are “stressed out.” “The immune system goes on a holding pattern. Blood pressure rises. Blood sugar rises. Hormones are out of whack,” he says. This happens when the body is set for fight or flight. The problem is when the body remains in such a state. That is the distress that kills.
