Worship: Called to Come Out of Hebrew Church / Wellness: Most People Starve on a Full Stomach

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The close of probation for a church does not refer to the close of probation for a person. A person can grieve the Holy Spirit at any time and close probation for him or her, says Pastor Flemons. Only God knows when a person has done that. It is not our prerogative to know it.

However, the Hebrew Church, once chosen of God, sealed themselves as a nation against the Holy Spirit by their continual official rebellion, their rejection of Jesus as the Messiah, the calling for His crucifixion, and finally the stoning of Stephen. The same is true for others in Scripture. King Saul, once chosen of God, is a perfect example.

Although AD 34 ended the official probationary time for the Jews, Luke 24:47 gives evidence that “repentance and remission of sins should be preached” in the name of Jesus to the Jews, those individuals at Jerusalem first, and then among “all nations.”

Romans 2:28 gives evidence that God recognizes only those who worship Him in the Spirit and in truth. He does not recognize His people simply by status of the natural birth. Even the sons of Aaron the high priest were destroyed because of their rebellion. They grieved the Holy Spirit.

God is teaching that the call that first went out to the Hebrew Church became the call that went out to the Christian church: spiritual Israel. “Literal Jerusalem is no longer honored of God,” says Pastor Flemons. Literal Jerusalem was supposed to have anointed the most Holy. Instead, they “killed the Messiah.” The veil of their temple was then forever rent. God will not be trifled with. It remains that those who honor God, God will honor.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that most people are starving on a full stomach. It is because they are not getting enough nutrition in the foods they choose to eat, until they are stuffed. They are filling their stomachs with foods that have calories but no nutritive value. They are eating processed foods, white flour products, oily foods, proteins from animals. This kind of food requires more to be eaten to get the same sensation of fullness that you get from fibrous foods that expand, says Pastor Flemons.

Most of the nutrition is found in fruits and vegetables. That is where the key vitamins and minerals are found that your body needs. Eat more organic whole foods, he says. It’s God’s original diet for mankind, according Genesis 1:29. Be determined to eat real food with real nutrition. Do not settle for calories that just make you feel full.

Sharing Time  Pastor Flemons responded to questions regarding a painful pimple like mass on the foot and cancerous calcification in the breast.

Special Prayer  Please include in your prayers Listener 6970, who asks that we pray for the distress she is experiencing on her job. It is affecting her blood pressure, which caused an eruption of a blood vessel in her eye.

Also pray for Listener 1087, who would like us to pray for her husband who is undergoing strenuous firefighter/EMT training, and for his friend, Montgomery Wise, and others who will be retaking their tests this morning. Remember their financial needs and the choice of a place for their home, as well as working from home and homeschooling her son. Pray that they hold strong to His perfect will for their lives.

Please pray for Dovie Bowens Jackson to fully recover from her wounds: both visible and invisible. She is a stabbing victim and newlywed of six months. She was stabbed by her husband. Also pray for the neighbor who called the police, although he was warned that he would be killed if he did.

Also keep all listeners in prayer, especially one who has a desperate need today and those struggling in their faith.
