Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “Pharisees will drive you out of the church,” says Pastor Flemons. Confessing to having been a Pharisee himself, Pastor Flemons says that he wants to help save other Pharisees, although he realizes that it is a goal that is extremely difficult.
Pharisees are self-deceived, self-righteous, self-proclaimed Christians that push doctrine to the extent of capital punishment for the erring (thinking they are doing God a favor). Yet they fail to realize when they themselves are in error.
Pastor Flemons says that a Pharisee would rather see you punished and do it themselves until you are crushed to death than help you be restored to God. They think it their duty to place a heavy burden upon the erring. In this sense, a Pharisee is more strict than God Himself.
The Apostle Paul, who was once a Pharisee in the strictest sense, encouraged Christians to restore one who has been overcome by weakness. It is to be done with a spirit of meekness, as though it were you who had succumbed to temptation. In this way, he says that we bear another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. (Read Galatians 6:1-3.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, gave a brief list of great juicers, discussed why he has juiced for more than 20 years, and provided a sure way to make vegetable juice very palatable. As a general rule, he says that you can simply add a Granny Smith apple, a lemon or lime, and ginger.
The Granny Smith apple has both a sweetness and tartness that adds a wonderful flavor to green drinks. He says that it is safe for diabetics, because of its low sugar content. Juice the whole apple, he says. But you need only the juice of half a lemon or lime. However, ginger root, which can be juiced just like the apple, must be measured by the chunks and sized according to the amount of juice to which it is being added.

Sharing and Caring Time Sis. Maria read “God’s Voice to Man,” Chapter 59, in the book Power of Prayer, by Ellen G. White, pp 114, 115. It reveals how Christ sends messages to us, that the voice of duty is the voice of God, and (among other lessons) how to have personal communion with God as you read His Word. Special Prayer Please include in your prayers Listener 1513, whose prayer request was not made public.
Please pray for Brennan, who is in the US Navy. His mother is requesting our prayers.
Please pray for Listener 7222, that she will successfully pass her test today and that she will be a witness at work. She also asks that we pray for traveling mercies for her sister, who is transitioning to Georgia. And please pray for her supervisor, who needs healing from a recent surgery.

Psalm 40:12, 13 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
