Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “Pharisees will drive you out of the church,” says Pastor Flemons. Confessing to having been a Pharisee himself, Pastor Flemons says that he wants to help save other Pharisees, even those in Present Truth, although he realizes that his goal is beyond the level of normal difficulty.
Basing his talk on Matthew 23:5-12, Pastor Flemons says that a Pharisee makes special effort that people see the good that they are doing: that they are following the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. They emphasize the outward. They love the uppermost room. The choose the chief seat at church.
They want to be seen as righteous, even when there is chaos at home. Their children see all of it, rebel, and can’t wait to be away from it. They don’t even know how to follow God. Their examples have been woefully deficient. Pharisees don’t know how to treat people, says Pastor Flemons. Rather, Pharisees have a controlling spirit. Therefore, if you don’t see anything the way that they see it, they will cut you off.
Pharisees are self-deceived, self-righteous, self-proclaimed Christians that push doctrine to the extent of capital punishment for the erring (thinking they are doing God a favor). Yet they fail to realize when they themselves are in error. A Pharisee is sad, you see.
[For further details, please read Matthew 23:5-12; Galatians 6:1-3; and listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons, who sang Hymn 207, “It May Be at Morn.”]
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that you can kill cancer faster than your body can eliminate the toxins. That is killing cancer too fast. When the body is not able to pass out the toxins as quickly as the cancer is being killed, complications can occur. You may feel as though you are getting worse, even though that may not be the case.
You might just need to back off a bit. “Go slower,” says Pastor Flemons. While you are curing cancer, you want to pace the process. Keep checking your pH with the pH strips to keep your alkalinity from spiking beyond a safe range for you. A safe pH is generally 7.5 to 8. Going above 8 may be intolerable for you. In this case, you may require help. Pastor Flemons may be reached for personal consultation at 706-897-8537.

Sharing and Caring Time Sis. Maria’s reading came from “God Invites You to Come,” Chapter 69, in the book Power of Prayer, by Ellen G. White, pp 137, 138. It reveals that God waits to welcome us to His audience chamber, that we can come to God with the simplicity of a child, that precious gifts are in store for the children of God. We learned that He longs to give. He longs to have you spread out your case before Him, whatever your problems or anxieties. Heaven is open to our petitions; and we are to come boldly. (The hyperlinks lead to other sources for the same message.)
Pastor Flemons answered questions about a remedy to restore short-term memory loss and reconciling these Bible texts: Luke 12:51; John 14:27; andMatthew 10:34-36.
Special Prayer Please include in your prayers Listener 5777, who asks that we pray for divine overcoming power in the circumstances the family is now facing. Pray for the controlling Spirit to be that of God.
Please pray that Sis. Chester and her husband receive divine wisdom to make a very important decision. And please pray for all the unspoken prayer requests of every heart. Thank you.
