Worship: For Heaven’s Sake God is pouring out His Spirit upon the earth, and we cannot be neutral. He is calling you to come out, to go forth, and spread the message of truth as it is in His word. He promises to give you the power to do it, according to His will. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake People too often believe that they can eat anything at any time and live in any way that pleases them at no cost. Because it makes them feel good and they don’t immediately get sick, they continue living this way. They believe everyone is simply going to die when their time comes. For Heaven’s Sake…
God is calling everyone to come out of churches that teach false doctrine. “All false churches will fall,” says Pastor Flemons. The Bible shows how everything will end. Revelation 18:1-11 and 15 explain that a time is coming when even the kings and merchants of the earth, who now use their influence to support and promote the agenda of the Catholic Church (“Babylon”), will see the church fall and will be awestruck and will distance themselves from it. God is warning everyone to separate now from churches that teach and promote false doctrine. God does not want any of us to be a part of the coming destruction, says Pastor Flemons.
The pastor reviewed how to interpret prophecy regarding the church, which is referred to as a woman. The kind of woman described in prophecy also describes the kind of church being spoken of. Babylon is identified and discussed in greater detail in earlier broadcasts, particularly, June 13 and 14 and August 14 and 23.
Revelation 18:1-11, 15
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,…
“You can’t remain neutral in a crisis,” says Pastor Flemons.
Elijah says the same in 1 Kings 18:21:
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
“You cannot remain neutral,” Pastor Flemons emphasized again, and he shared this quote that sums it up quite succinctly:
“If God abhors one sin above another, of which His people are guilty, it is doing nothing in case of an emergency. Indifference and neutrality in a religious crisis is regarded of God as a grievous crime and equal to the very worst type of hostility against God. {3T 280.3}” (Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 3, p. 280.3)
For Health’s Sake…
Pastor Flemons insists our job is to preserve the life God has given us. When we haven’t properly preserved our lives, we die an early death.
“God has endowed us with a certain amount of vital force. He has also formed us with organs suited to maintain the various functions of life, and He designs that these organs shall work together in harmony. If we carefully preserve the life force, and keep the delicate mechanism of the body in order, the result is health; but if the vital force is too rapidly exhausted, the nervous system borrows power for present use from its resources of strength, and when one organ is injured, all are affected. Nature bears much abuse without apparent resistance; she then arouses and makes a determined effort to remove the effects of the ill-treatment she has suffered. Her effort to correct these conditions is often manifest in fever and various other forms of sickness.” (Ellen G. White, Ministry of Healing, pp. 235, 236)
And God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).
