Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “God is not God because He makes good things better. God is God because He can take our worst mistakes and turn them into some of the greatest blessings…” says Pastor Flemons, so great that it will be even better than had we never sinned. … We only need to give Him permission. In the end, we will be exalted! (Read more below.)

For Heaven’s Sake…
“We are a helpless bunch of beings! We don’t even know what to pray for!” says Pastor Flemons. “But God sends the Holy Spirit,… [who] helps us with our infirmities and takes those prayers and converts them into the heavenly language–a language we can’t speak.” But God knows. In this way, the Holy Spirit is able to intercede for us. That’s His job.
Romans 8:26-28 reads this way:
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Our job is to love God and be “the called” according to His word.
For Health’s Sake…
“The love of money is the root of all evil.” That’s what Paul wrote to Timothy. (See 1 Timothy 6:10.) Only ten verses later, Paul added this: “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.” It is interesting that these two verses appear in the same discourse.
Interestingly, the problem with science, falsely so-called today, is that it is driven by the so-called “almighty” dollar. And instead of it being the facts and true quality science that it should be, it too often isn’t. Thankfully, some truths are coming to light.
“Large amounts of sugar and saturated fats are both detrimental to health and their effects are hard to separate,” is the truth only now reported in a Fox News article yesterday. But in 1954, the Sugar Research Foundation told a different story. “In 1954, they say, foundation president Henry Haas gave a speech highlighting the potential of reducing American fat intake and recapturing those calories as carbohydrates that would increase the per capita consumption of sugar more than a third.”
At the time, “‘The sugar association paid very prestigious Harvard scientists to publish a review focusing on saturated fat and cholesterol as the main causes of heart disease at the time when studies were starting to accumulate indicating that sugar is a risk factor for heart disease,’ Schmidt told Reuters Health by phone.”
Who can measure the damage done over the decades? Now we know that “sugar, along with fats, is responsible for hundreds of thousands of people dying from heart attacks and strokes,” says Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness and naturopathy. Over the years, many people on a plant-based diet have approached him wondering why their cholesterol was so high.
It’s the sugar. “And they knew this in the 50s! … They simply downplayed it… We keep finding flaw after flaw after flaw in what they call ‘good science,'” says Pastor Flemons. Real science is truth. But the majority of medicine is based on science falsely so called to the tune of billions of dollars.
