Worship: Step 3 in Sanctification / Wellness: Dangers of a Leaky Gut

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The third step in sanctification is also the “crowning step in sanctification or Christian perfection.” It is the “crowning sheaf of Christian growth.” It is not enough to experience conversion or being born again and cleansed from past sins, which is justification. God’s child must be sanctified. They must go on to then study God’s Word and pray: the first and second steps. But it is the sharing of God’s Word by speaking the truth in love that the child of God becomes complete in Him. This speaking the truth in love is represented by the candlestick (the third and final article) in the holy place of the sanctuary. As the candlestick provides light in dark places, “God’s character of love must shine though His people to the world,” says Pastor Flemons.

[For additional details, please read Ephesians 4:13, 15; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 Peter 2:2; Colossians 4:12; Matthew 5:14, 15; and “The Third Step in Sanctification” in The Path to the Throne of God: The Sanctuary, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck. (PTG 138 original; PTG 187 new edition; PTG 105 online) Also please listen to the recording and hear Pastor Flemons sing Hymn #470, “There’s Sunshine in My Soul Today.”]

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed the leaky gut: its cause, its complications, and cure. Leaky gut syndrome is a condition where the food substances that should exit the body through the feces actually leak into the bloodstream. Two problems are the result: allergies and more allergy-like conditions, such as autoimmune diseases, including lupus. Lupus means that there are “a whole lot of autoimmune diseases that are on the way and are being manifested,” says Pastor Flemons. Arthritis is only one of them. It is all caused by a toxic overload because of candida, stress, and wrong habits of eating, like eating too late at night, eating spicy foods, eating wrong combinations of foods, and drinking during meals.

It can be cured by relieving the digestive system through fasting or juice feasting and then retraining the digestive system through healthy dietary and lifestyle habits. But first, the gut must have a rest. With abstinence, diligence, and obedience to the laws of health, the problems of a leaky gut can be turned around in 10 days and prevented from returning.

John 3:14, 15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (Also read FW 37.1-37.2.)

Isaiah 32:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. (Also read FW 37.3-38.1.)

Worship: After the Pattern / Wellness: Fewer Heart Attacks, Strokes in Trans Fat-Banned Areas

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Moses was not only shown the heavenly pattern of the sanctuary but he was also instructed step-by-step exactly what must be done to accomplish it. What Moses was to have constructed was in type or symbol exactly what was going on in heaven. “Every detail represented some phase of the redemptive work of Christ. It was important, therefore, that we gain a clear understanding not only of this pattern but also its relation to the heavenly sanctuary.  . . .  Paul makes it plain that the pattern shown to Moses was but ‘a shadow’ of heavenly things, and not the ‘very image’ of those things.” And we must clearly understand that “this earth, where the true Sacrifice was offered on Calvary, is the court of the heavenly sanctuary.”

[This topic was based on “The Earthly Sanctuary a “Figure” of the Heavenly” in Path to the Throne of God, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck, PTG 79, 80 (pp 113, 114 new edition) (PTG online 58, 59 ).]

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Researchers found a 6.2 percent decline in hospitalizations for heart attacks and strokes of residents living in communities where trans fats were banned in restaurants. Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, shared this information with listeners from a health.news article that also reported “the average American eats nearly five pounds of trans fats each year.”  As of June 2018, processed food manufacturers must have phased out the use of all trans fats, according to a 2015 announcement by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). “According to the American Heart Association, trans fats can be artificial or occur naturally in milk and meat products.” This supports the consistent advice of Pastor Flemons to eat a total plant-based diet, which eliminates the flesh of animals and their byproducts, such as dairy and eggs.

Words of Encouragement

1 John 2:3-5  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not  in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Ezekiel 36:23, 26, 27  And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. [26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. [27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Words of Encouragement

Romans 4:20-21  He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Romans 6:13-14 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

For Heaven’s Sake…

“. . . All the arrangements had been made, and he was about to step on board the ship, when he was told of a plot laid by the Jews to take his life. In the past these opposers of the faith had been foiled in all their efforts to put an end to the apostle’s work. AA 389.2

“The success attending the preaching of the gospel aroused the anger of the Jews anew. From every quarter were coming accounts of the spread of the new doctrine by which Jews were released from the observance of the rites of the ceremonial law and Gentiles were admitted to equal privileges with the Jews as children of Abraham. Paul, in his preaching at Corinth, presented the same arguments which he urged so forcibly in his epistles. His emphatic statement, ‘There is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision’ (Colossians 3:11), was regarded by his enemies as daring blasphemy, and they determined that his voice should be silenced. AA 390.1

“The ship on which Paul and his companions were to continue their journey, was about to sail, and the brethren hastened on board. The apostle himself, however, chose to take the nearer route by land between Troas and Assos, meeting his companions at the latter city. This gave him a short season for meditation and prayer. The difficulties and dangers connected with his coming visit to Jerusalem, the attitude of the church there toward him and his work, as well as the condition of the churches and the interests of the gospel work in other fields, were subjects of earnest, anxious thought, and he took advantage of this special opportunity to seek God for strength and guidance. AA 391.4

“Paul had not designed to bear this testimony; but, while he was speaking, the Spirit of Inspiration came upon him, confirming his fears that this would be his last meeting with his Ephesian brethren. AA 393.3

“‘And now, behold,’ Paul continued, ‘I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.’ AA 393.2

“‘Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.’ No fear of giving offense, no desire for friendship or applause, could lead Paul to withhold the words that God had given him for their instruction, warning, or correction. From His servants today God requires fearlessness in preaching the word and in carrying out its precepts. The minister of Christ is not to present to the people only those truths that are the most pleasing, while he withholds others that might cause them pain. He should watch with deep solicitude the development of character. If he sees that any of his flock are cherishing sin he must as a faithful shepherd give them from God’s word the instruction that is applicable to their case. Should he permit them in their self-confidence to go on unwarned, he would be held responsible for their souls. The pastor who fulfills his high commission must give his people faithful instruction on every point of the Christian faith, showing them what they must be and do in order to stand perfect in the day of God. He only who is a faithful teacher of the truth will at the close of his work be able to say with Paul, ‘I am pure from the blood of all men.'” AA 393.4

(This study is based on the Acts 20:4-38; 21:1-16; and chapter 37, “Paul’s Last Journey to Jerusalem” in The Acts of the Apostles (AA), by Ellen G. White.)

For Health’s Sake…

Pastor Flemons believes that when it comes to diagnosing cancers, biopsies are not the best method. Biopsies create seeding. As a result, cancer can and does spread in the process.

Surgery, when absolutely necessary, is biblical. However, too often unnecessary surgeries are performed almost routinely. Such surgeries include the hysterectomy and the removal of fibroid tumors.

The use of emergency drugs to save and stabilize life are excellent and should be received. But by all means, drugs for chronic conditions are harmful. You only need to study the list of side effects for each drug to determine that there must be a better way. There is. It is biblical wellness. We call it the REFRESHING Way lifestyle. The lifestyle must change–beginning with Relying on God; Eating healthy; getting Fresh air, Rest and Exercise; using Self-control; drinking H2O – water; being In the sun daily; and Giving to others.

Dairy and Allergies / The Little Horn

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Continuing with the study of Daniel 7, Pastor Flemons noted a principle within the prophecies. In Catholicism, tradition trumps the Bible. For Protestants, the Bible trumps tradition. He also identified the little horn as papal Rome, which according to prophecy and history, defeated three tribes into extinction: the Heruli, the Vandals, and the Ostrogoths.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Diary products, particularly cow’s milk, play a major role in the development of allergies, asthma, sleep disorders, migraine headaches, mucous production, hemoglobin loss, childhood diabetes, heart disease, atherosclerosis, arthritis, kidney stones, mood swings, depression and irritability. Cow’s milk is for calves.

World History in Daniel 2 / Reversing Diabetes

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Through a dream, GOD gave the king of Babylon the lineup of the great world powers from the beginning to the end. Accordingly, this dream has had its fulfillment of world kingdoms: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Pagan and Papal Rome. The divided kingdoms are now warring against each other, just as predicted. Only one is left to be fulfilled.

Wellness: For Health’s Sakes  Diabetes is the result of displaced fats and toxic waste in the system. It is a nutritional disease. The sufferer is usually insulin resistant. Eating a healthy plant-based diet is essential in reversing diabetes, including eating lots of raw food  and avoiding refined sugar and foods and animal products.

Q&A Questions were answered about how to deal naturally with spider bites and allergies and what is recommended as a natural antibiotic.
