Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Jesus does not demand blind submission even to Him. Every word, everyone, must be tested by the Bible. John 7:17 states “If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” But when traditions that are not biblical are taught as doctrine, you have the blind leading the blind. You have double-blind Christianity, as described in Matthew 15:1-14. Paul admonishes us, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (Read more below.)

For Health’s Sake…
These are the three primary reasons double-blind studies can no longer be trusted:
1. The FDA has given total control of so-called double-blind studies to the pharmaceutical companies who present their findings to the FDA. Dr. Flemons says that this suggests that the findings can not be considered unbiased.
2. The studies are outsourced by the pharmaceutical companies to CROs (contract research organizations) generally located in other countries, like China, for millions of dollars in savings, as compared to the cost under previous FDA restrictions. Because of this apparent symbiotic relationship between client and company, no result can be entirely without question.
3. The outcome only needs to show a positive change, regardless of any other detrimental side effects to the patient.
So when you hear that natural remedies are not approved by the FDA, it is because it won’t approve anything that hasn’t gone through a “double-blind study.”
What pharmaceutical company is going to spend millions of dollars on something that cannot be patented for gain? Dr. Flemons contends they will not, unless they can first alter the herb by removing its natural properties and substituting them with properties (foreign and thus toxic to the human body) that only mimic what the herb would do. Golden seal and echinacea and all of these simple herbs that grow “in your backyard” cannot be patented in their natural state.
