Words of Encouragement
Psalm 37:5-6 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

For Heaven’s Sake…
If we respond to life’s tragedies with unshakable love and trust in God, then Satan can’t really touch us. He can only make it appear that all is lost. But when we truly trust God, then God is able to do what He does best: what He specializes in doing.
“God is not God because He can make good things better. God is God, because He can take the worst tragedy and turn it into the greatest blessing,” says Pastor Flemons. But you have to trust your life with God. Turn your life over to Him. Then He can work everything out for your best good.
That is essentially what Romans 8:28 means. Paul said, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” This very verse was played out in Job’s life. But you can’t have this experience unless you know Christ. And if you know Christ, you love Him.
Job 2:1-10 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
“If we are willing to suffer for the sake of Christ, Satan has no power,” says Pastor Flemons. In the end of Job’s many devastating losses and trials, God restored everything that Job lost and gave him more besides.
Job made it plain, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15).
We need to have the kind of faith that will not give up. Regardless of what happens, we need to be determined that we will not lose our faithfulness to God. It is important to know this: “If you can’t love God, you don’t know Him,” says Pastor Flemons. It is impossible to know God and not love Him. It is impossible to be faithful unto death without loving Him.
For Health’s Sake…
It is said that air is the new oil. Air frying is an easy and healthy way to fry without sacrificing taste. Using only as much as tablespoon of oil and draining excess oil, up to 75 percent less oil can be used during the entire process. Still, the food is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Pastor Flemons personally agrees that the taste is not sacrificed. He further agrees that air frying is safe. The brand that he read about and shared, however, can do more than fry. It can grill, roast and steam and even bake your foods safely, easily and quickly. Although the air fryer that Pastor Flemons discussed was the Phillips brand, do your own research and consider your own budget for choosing the best brand.
The fries Pastor Flemons enjoyed were prepared in an air fryer that was purchased at a Goodwill for only $15. With one day’s research, Pastor Flemons learned that they typically cost less than $200. At any rate, he recommends an air fryer for every kitchen.
