Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The sanctuary has always been the pivotal doctrine for the plan of redemption, says Pastor Flemons, who quoted Psalm 77:13: “Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary.” The Hebrew church was to have introduced to the world the Messiah, the Savior, through the ceremonies of the sanctuary. They failed, because they lost the spiritual significance of the ceremonies. Then the Christian church failed to understand the priestly ministry of Jesus Christ begun in heaven upon His ascension. This was central to the sanctuary’s message of redemption.
Therefore, the Remnant church was organized to take up and finish the mission. However, there still remained a general misunderstanding of salvation through the sanctuary. “Because of this general lack of understanding, the Remnant church stumbled on this very same point.” (PTG)
Nevertheless, a remnant recovered after the Great Disappointment of October 22, 1844, when they realized that the 2300-day prophecy ended as the Investigative Judgment began and God’s Ten Commandments were to be exalted. But now, even the Remnant church is losing sight of the sanctuary, says Pastor Flemons. We’re even arguing about women’s ordination, he says, when we need to continue to focus on accepting the full gospel, including the reality of gaining complete victory over sin. For we have the promise of being kept from falling to sin and then being presented faultless before the presence of God. We must not forget the message of salvation through the sanctuary, even now.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that your skin will give warning messages that something is wrong internally. For instance, liver spots are a wake-up call that your liver is congested. Severe constipation causes your skin to loose its healthy glow. Kidney problems are also reflected in the visual health of the skin, says Pastor Flemons. “Toxins in these internal organs are transferred to the skin.”
He cautions against the use of makeup as a drug. It only masks the visual signs of an internal problem. Rather, “clean out the internal organs!” he says. That means you might have to take some dandelion or milk thistle for cleansing the liver. You might have to drink plenty of water and get adequate exercise to relieve the colon. You may even need to add psyllium and fiber to make sure your colon is cleaned out. And for the health of your kidneys, please avoid carbonated beverages, and drink water instead.
Just by improving the health of your colon, liver and kidneys, “your skin will show the blessing of health,” says Pastor Flemons.
